best pistol is Feather FWG5 using castings and looted scopes stats will be 450-960damage acc 15 acc 60 dps 320 sac 65 on the best ones your best bet if your intersted in all weapon caps to look at the Weaponsmith fourm in facts...

First, DPS has no valid claim to effecientcy in combat based on the hard numbers appering on weapons. They are pointless and meaningless.

As for best pistol: Ion Stunner Pistol for PvP

Carbine: Nyms Slug Thrower

The Trandoshan 1b is arguably the most powerful rifle in the game.

N-K Executer (Two-hander) is definitely one of the better swords, although stats do vary from time to time based on the drop.

Apparently the Xris Acid Sword is a really good Fencer weapon, but that is only what I hear.

Problem I have with the ele pups is the reduction to min dmg on the weapons. I had appeared to be doing less dmg when using ele pups on one of my weapons.

There is no "golden gun" in this game if thats what your looking for. The best weapon is a matter of preference and fighting style.

A crafted Trando Hunting Rifle is the best gun in the game at its caps.

best: this is only for pre-mustafar since all the new schematics there have not yet been found...:

pistol: featherweight fwg5: good one will be around 966 max dam, 1.88-1.9 speed, 65 sac. unsliced

rifle: still findan advanced laser rifleis best because u can cap sac and dam and still have decent speed. a trandosian rifle, likely due to its inferior barrel, cannot be both dam and sac capped (again talking unsliced). also I'm only talking aboutthose servers where the pre-cu stocks all converted to -20 sac (as there are the odd servers where a few crates maintained 40 min 40 max and -20 ona stock. Lowca is not one of those (unfortunately lol! an extra 40 min and 40 max would have been nice). trandosian riflehas bit better min dam.

carbine: elite and e11mark2 are comparable. e11mark2 takes slightly easier to get resources and soyour final resultsfor the same cells are likely to be better on the e11mark2, subject to experimental variations. But the elite can be used by anyone lvl 54+, so has better resale value than the e11mark2 (the latter of which has master carbine requirement)

Yeah, this is true, but certain weapons are more powerful than others. You'd be hard-pressed to convince me that someone using a C-Def is going to take out someone with a T-21. Personally, I wished tactics played a larger role in this game, but MMOs are about numbers primarily, and the higher ones generally always win.
