So I did the Anchorhead bantha doll quest very early on. I got the bantha doll and as i was supposed to, gave it to the monk dude. At the time, the word on the street was that the quest was repeatable. Now it seems that I cannot repeat this quest. The guy just says "thank, those monks are finally off my back" or some other such thing.
Can you get bantha dolls any other way? I wish I could have finished the "story" without losing the doll. It was really cute, and would look nice in my Bio-Engineer lab.
Maybe someone has one they could sell me cheaply? (I've only been playing a month and so count my credits using k, not m).

Heh, quest is not repeatable. If you want a doll, you need to put the one he gives you in a backpack and start the quest over again. By the way, he gives you a bantha STATUE. The bantha doll has different info on it when you /ex it. Once I looted a bantha DOLL from one of the Bantha Monk guys, so you might try that. I also looted a doll from the Corvette doing a Imp mission.

I've heard you can loot them from the Corvette as well. Best bet is to use the new handy dandy bazaar search and find one for cheap.

i go on the corvette a lot on valcyn, and i keep looting those stupid bantha doll (i loot one every 2 run for sure)

There's a slight difference......
The Bantha Statue is the one from the quest, and yes, you have to stick that one in a backpack if you want to keep it, and either delete or re-do the quest for the reward.
The Bantha Doll is looted from the Corvette.
They look the same, but the descriptions are totally different.

I've never had to stick it in my pack. I just keep telling him that I cannot complete the mission. Once my inventory fills up, I move them all to the pack and move on. Same with the Death Star Fragment pieces.

If you want to finish the mission and keep a statue, you need to put one in a backpack and then redo the mission.

Really? As a mayor, I shall commission a study into the validity of this claim. It shall require enormous amounts of credits and may require some bribes too. It'll also take about 6-12 months to conduct R&D, test the actions, compile data, and have the reports written. But in the end, it will provide a huge help to the galaxies as a whole.

Well you were right it's a bantha Statue.. and armed with the info int his thread about how to do the quest correctly and KEEp one, I had a friend who hadn't done this one yet help me out.... and now we each have one. Thanks so much everyone.

the doll gives luck, ive gotten much better drops with the doll, than without. me and my bud ra-vage on tarquinas use em and we got hawt drops off acklay, nyax, and elders. never those crap pikes, base bones or cyoban grenades.
