I think he is referring to the hotfix that Tiggs just posted about.

Says it fixes the Krayt drops.

Yeah got a perl from an ancient today. And tissue. Tissue was 56 damage and perl was good.... Way to go SOE

seems the best pearl anyone has gotten is good, seems like the krayts should drop them, maybe they are just very rare now.

The loot is based on the lvl system, higher the lvl, better the loot. I think the lvl of a flawless pearl is around 200. The hardest krayt dragon, the ancient is lvl94. No comment.

And thats where the flaw is. A 111cl NPC Jedi drops quality crystals. There are 256cl NPC's out there from where you could get better crystals but there is no higher Krayt than a cl 94 Ancient.

And it is slightly disturbing that a low juv drops the same than an ancient.

Blame me silly, but since the Dev's don't know anything but NERFING anyway, why not just remove rating from crystals/pearls alltogether and lat them all tune randomly?

Anyway even a premium nowdays can simply tune to 35/35 -4 (happened to me yesterday with my last saved up premium lol)

this would save us the trouble and the dev's can for once nerf something without anyone whining about it

Good idea, and make tune dependand of jedi skill. Which means the more skill points you have in jedi the higher the chance for a good tune. (It shouldn't be related to any jedi box)

So far i have only heard of "good" Pearls Dropping

There are no soloable krayts dropping pearls. So get yourself a group solo the 4 ancients that spawn in a 3 hour period (but get to them before the other 5 groups of hunters). take him down 50% chance of dropping a "good" (read 30dam -3fc) Pearl. alternate between the 8 people in your group and you should be able to get 1 crappy pearl for about 12 hours of playing.

The good news is that now they drop "Krayt Dragon Composite Armor Segment" again ....... ermmmmm are those still a componenet in anythng?

lol if you can solo a juvy you should be able to solo an ancient, its not that hard. easier than others i think.. just takes a little longer b/c they have more health. they move like malasses, especially with a snare. you don't need a big group unless you can't solo a krayt in the first place.
