I found some jawa beads on some vendor today somewhere and picked them up simply because I had never seen them... Anyhow, as I was looking in the vendor I tried to examine the beads and could not see them in the window. I figured, okay it's a necklace I'll just put it on to see what it looks like. I bought it and retreived it, I could not actually see the necklace in my inventory, as is common with tailor necklaces. I then tried to equip it, no go, no equip option on the radial menu either.
I waited until I got back to my house and decided to drop the beads just to get a look, I figured it would go to the ground like other loot items sometimes do, black sun/jedi medalion. Wrong again, it was at neck height just like regular necklaces. When I picked it back up I looked back in my inventory and a strange thing happened, I could see the beads in inventory. I then examined, I could now see the beads in the examine window.
Sorry to be so long winded here but I was wondering if this had ever happened to anyone else, I'm going to try it with other necklaces in the morning when I get up and also check to see if I can still see the beads in inventory.

This hashappened to me once with a necklaceI crafted.. for a secI thought SOE had fixed the bug but as soonI as examined it.. it was gone again

This is standard with all necklaces. Once dropped in a home and picked up, they appear within inventory until you shuttle or cross a server boundary, when they go invisible again. I am not certain that it happens with ANY server boundary, but I have seen them disappear as I travel and get the big Z-axis jump, where my speeder flies 100m into the air, plummetting down again

the jawa beads are a mission item....it isnt real jewelry and cant be worn....

okay, thanks for the replies, I tried it again this morning and the whole now you-see-it-now-you-don't thing is kinda silly.

yes its silly. Wish it would get hunted down and fixed.
Also, those are jawa 'love' beads.... don't try to wear them and make sure you have gloves on when handling them.

ummm they aren't wearable yes but i looted them not in a quest...so they are lootable from anywhere...just wish i could get the rest of the jawa clothing and set up a jawa model in my house lol...oh and why do jawa beeds sit at human neck hieght in your house...shouldn'tthey bee at like jawa neck height???

Whered you loot them? and for those that have recieved them via mission, can i get some tips on where to do this? it seems cool =)

I got a set from doing the jabba mission that calls for jawa extermination. Lotted them from one of little guys. "Ootini"
Luke Skywalker - "Jawa beads? I wonder if he was referring to O' Ben Wa beads."

Just an FYI I have looted atleast 10 of these jawa beeds just by killing random jawas I find outside Bestine...I'm actually looting more beeds right now than the normal broken crap. Keep in mind though I am at war with Jawas...lol. If I see a Jawa its dead! My friends were just messing with me last night that I should be able to walk right down to the pool at the Tusken Fort without being attacked because I've killed so many Jawas...or even be saluted by the Tuskens...lol. Anyways, I'm getting off topic here. Kill Jawas and you will get these or I have just been lucky
