Hello,
i d like to hunt Gorax. But it seems very very rare. Did you ever try to get one?
How many people needed to shoot it down?
How to find it? Do we need to group with a ranger?

They roam about on the top end of endor (the desert part) - you could try a ranger I guess but they can usually be found if you cover enough ground. When you kill one then another should respawn a couple of times so hang around.
1 person can take one down if they have decent range and a good selection of snares and roots, its doesn't move very quick. I think it is CL84 or something like that, the important thing as with any high CL creature is keeping out of its range.
Of course, if you have more people it should be quicker and easier, just make sure you plan before what you are going to do so your not all running round in different directions!

The one I killed a couple nights ago was CL82 and either 27k or 37k HAM. I just had my radar out to 256M and looked for the higher CON circle around the target.

you will find barely any gorax roming free, if you want to hunt them you have to make them spawn. You find a section with wild spawns all around and start killing the spawns. They will rotate and a gorax will spawn. Just keep at it till ur done.

I've killed at least 4 roamers off the desert plateau right at the bottom in the forest part...Just make your personal radar cover as much ground as possible and keep the plateau in it. I've found em near the little gremlin thing's cave and a few more along that line. Look for the yellow con. They average about 32k HPs and I routinely do it as a MBH/MCombat Medic. The DOTs help tremendously, and since CM has the best snare in the game (2 minutes and it crawls...) it's a piece of cake. I still eat vegerine or whatever the +100 melee defense is, ruby bliel for stimpacks (like every 10 seconds if you need it with high heal efficiency) blob candy and bofa treat. Try to use a low SAC weapon so you can shoot it for 5-10 minutes continuously. They're a bit easier than Kimogilas and are always alone, which is a plus.

i got one the other nite my self dont go to farnorth because they dont spawn in the mountians only the flat desert
