Thread: targeting monocle thingy
ive seen a few players running around w/ these on (check the link for pic) does anyone know how to get them?

ive heard they are a quest reward, a reward for buying some special japanese edition of the game and a few other theories but nothing concrete.
does anyone know?

I haven't seen them. I just made a clicky.
I know the Japanese versions give these out instead of the sunglasses that we can get if we buy the Collectors Edition.

once you already buy the game tho you cant get the Collectors Edition rewards can you?
i would really like some goggles or a monocle, is it possible to buy the CE and attach it to an existing account?
also i have never seen those monocles on players before, i saw them on ROTW NPCs and then saw some in the ToOW screenshots (before launch) then since launch i have seen two players w/ them (monocles).
This is an item I woiuld certainly like an update on so UP we go for more exposure here

They will buy it in Japan and export it to you. Took about 3 weeks but mine was delivered with zero issues. I already had the American SE edition and I added the key and now get 6 different goggles with the /segoggles command

this game need change from SWG to SMG (sadistic & masoquism)

heh, there is a thread in this forum about 8-9 pages long about the goggels. The targetting monocle is one of the 3 Japaneese Collectors' Edition games (called Commander Edition, or something like that). All you have to do is add the unique code from the box that it comes in, and you will get all the bonuses with it. So if you have just the basic game, you can buy the american/eurpean version and add the code in to get the 3 goggled from that, then get the japaneese edition to get the 3 goggles from that expansion. Only thing is, there are not many japaneese editions left, and you will probably end up paying over $100 once S&H is taken care of.
