Thread: ok this is really frustrating...can you help

ok im trying to arrange some items in my house into a display
the prob i have is if i drop 2 different stacks of the same resource in the house they automatically stack together!!! i want them to stay separate....it wont let me split the pile once its on the floor.
is there something ive missed?

no, thats how it's always been...... if you want to see abunch of different resource crates, you have to get a WHOLE LOTTA different resources together

damn thats really annoying!
what im doing is selling lightsaber resources in pack and want to be able to open out each pack in a show room so my customers can see EXACTLY what they are getting.
guess im gonna have to come up with a new plan

Yeah, I ran into this when I was constructing a Crucifix for my church, what a mess that is to go around and find all different resources just to make a display. I think it would be easier to have an aritisan(or yourself) make kits or something with the stats on the item so they can click on the item to see the stats for the corresponding material. Just an idea

yeah think what ill have to do is lay out one unit of each reasource and make some kinda sign displaying what is in each pack
would have been nice to have a stack of resources for each pack tho

the only way to do this if you really really wanted to is to have 100,000 and 1 units. blocks cap at 100k so the 1 unit will be standalone as the start of another stack.

but who has 100k+1 units of the best resources ever? lol and if they did, why would you display them and not sell them?

Well, if you're selling them as kits, put everything in a backpack and display that. Name the pack "Lightsaber Resources Kit" or something, and they can see what's in them.

You can't look in backpacks unless you have admin rights tho

Oh, the harsh realities of life. How about putting one of each resource on the floor, and make signs calling them different lot numbers, and then naming the packs something like: "Lot 2: 4,000 Lot 11: 7,000". Then the customer would know what was inside and how much.
