And other things like picture printers, datapads etc. I presume.

It now correctly shows the number of items placed in it. You can even open it like a regular container and see what is in it.

Just logged out so I am hoping everything will still be in it when I get back...

No, when you put the last item It disappear and a picture appear in your inventory. It's random (probably it depends from the viewscreen you used to) and work like the autoloomed rug.

Also you need a paint cartridge and a viewscreen (obiviously) and, of course, the viewscreen printer.

I can't remember if you also need a viewscreen technical reader, anyway you find the list af all you need, making examine on the viewscreen printer. Last tip, I looted all the items from aakuan (random spawn) and bynaire pirates.

FYI for anyone that wants to know, there are two kits like this.

The first kit takes the tan viewscreens,a blank canvas, a paint cartridge, a paint dispersal unit, and a "picture printer".

The second type of kit uses the gray viewscreens, a blank canvas, a paint cartridge, a paint dispersal unit, a viewscreen technical reader, and a "viewscreen printer".

I haven't really noticed a difference in the paintings you get from either. I had been told that the better/more rare paintings came from the kits with the gray viewscreens, but when I put my first one of these together I got the Bio-engineer poster which is really common on my server. Then I put together 5 of the tan kits and got 3 droid in contrast paintings and 2 double helix's. So pretty much seems random to me. But they are kinda fun to put together.
