Has anyone on the planets of Talus or Rori not seen Jedi in the past 2 days? (And especially Dathomir hunters?)


I have been lookin for them --- havent seen any lately...

Killed a dozen the other night....

Now theres none

I got owned by a Dark Adept in Talus about 4-5 days ago.

Killed a Dark Jedi lastnight on dantooine

Piatchi is referring to a guild event that occurred a few days ago. We disposed of 1 Dark Jedi Master, 7 Dark Jedi Knights, 4 Dark Adepts (which for some reason are much, much more difficult than even Dark Jedi Masters), and various Nightsister members and Singing Mountain Clan slaves.

There were 20 of us in a group, with a small handful of friendly strangers along for the ride. Some battles were harder than others (**edit** Adepts), but there was decent loot dropped.

However, a handful of members have returned to the planet but are unable to find any Dark Jedi of any sort. We thought this odd given the relative success of the aforementioned hunt, and Piatchi was merely asking for observations from others who hunt the Dark Jedi.

I should have rephrased that to "We" killed a dozen jedi of different sorts, where We = Mos Entha Hunting Group, with the PA tag of HUNT. We're on Dathomir right now, killing some Nightsisters... no Jedi found in a day, when we found a dozen (it tallied to exactly 12 force NPC's) and killed them all. The hunt ended when everyone logged off, but the last 5 of us stumbled upon 1 Dark Jedi Master, and yes... the 5 of us killed him. They're not all they're cracked up to be. He was the only NPC that actually had a working and visual lightsaber

Dont be discouraged if you didnt kill a dark adept... in fact, those are the only types of force-aligned NPC's that actually killed any of our members on the hunt....

HUNT is right outside of Mos Entha, by the battlefield... we have organized hunts....

Twice, we've killed giant krayts, once with 19 members, another time with 17 members...

The sheer number of public groups that fight beasts such as jedi and krayts, leave with 70-80 people and all come back at the cloning facility boggles my mind. The krayts with 19 killed ONE of us, and he happened to be a melee guy messing around.

The beasts arent all they're cracked up to be, with my fine group of HUNT members, so I dont ever disbelieve someone when they say they kill a jedi alone... its not impossible, one bit.

Are we good? I'd say so. Have we killed everything? No. We're still looking for Ancient Krayts...

But if you want proof of jedi deaths, I have screenshots, and the guildhall now has some force crystals, and mystery crystals laying around... quite interesting.

Oh Okay...

I was wondering if anyone could be that strong if s/he was going solo. = )

A Novice Bounty Hunter can solo a Jedi NPC easily. Jedi PC's will be much harder.

With the current pvp system i dont see how Jedi will last longer then a normal mob.PC vs.PC battle = 1.5 secs. the hardest mobs that i can solo as master pistoleertake at least 3 mins. I do hope that they can last longer in battles with PC's but i dont see ithappening (

To answer the origional posters coments, no I have not seen any on Rori ever. Where might I find them on Rori?

Piatchi: I've killed an ancient krayt with a group of four... two died and another member and I finished the ancient krayt off. I do have screenshots for proof if you'd care for evidence. They're all around krayt graveyard if you'd care to hunt them.

high lvl mobs really werent too tough in this game(still much arent) ive soloed canyon krayt(not great or ancient) and DJM's(bleed owns both these mobs) certain shots allowed this to happen early on and some have been fixed somewhat

anyways i know a reliable way to spawn dark jedi knights, go to imperial prison on dathomir and talk to the lone guy in cell, go do his first quest then his second, his second is to kill a dark jedi knight and you can spawn him over and over again cuz the quest doesnt advance after you kill him first time...he spawns with 2 nightsisters also who seem to come first

Jurur420, not all pvp combat is solved with a pistol, carbine or rifle....

As a pikeman with the defensive line of the pistoleer skill tree completed I can verify to you that skill mods in this game do work in pvp....im not talking about D v Knockdown either...

Jedi will have VERY high defensive mods, and one of the mods you dont see alot of in any combat profession is Block.....only the rifleman and pikeman have it (cant recall there may be one more with a very low total block ability) and thier totals are very low overall. Jedi mods will not be the same

I can verify to you that block does work, I have blocked ranged attackers on occassion as a pikeman (yeah its pretty cool too)

IF you think the devs are going to let a PC jedi get waxxed by a carbineer, BH, pistoleer, rifleman etc I think you may need to re-evaluate that.

In fact they may have mods not even available to regular "standard" classes, like defense v bleed....

PVP against a Jedi will not be standard PVP, I dont care how "good" you think you are....hell pvp against a pikeman isnt standard pvp....

If Jedi hit harder and faster than pikeman then they will be unstoppable......I hit for 2400-3300 damage for example....

So if your one of those so called "uber Im gonna hunt Jedi" people have at it man, have fun getting owned....

Anyone know of static Dark Jedi or force weilder spawns?
