Do singing Mountain clan dropsimilar and equal loot to Nightsisters...and also...are there similar NPC's for each clan...i.e. is there an elder type for the SMC, protector type,etc...

Actually, I've found that SMC consitantly drop better loot more often than NS. IN one spawn I got a modded ph, a select and quality crystal, a sash with terrain neg 5 def vs dizzy 7 and rifle spd 6 and a 500 unsliced lva. ONE SPAWN!! And yes they have similar mobs but resists are a bit different (higher blast resists usually) but nothing to worry about if your hacking away elders. Although procs and weavers have been dropping more attachments lately which is always nice

Although now I find that loot is comparable over the long haul between NS's and SMC's.

Of course going back like a year ago (i believe) getting any loot off of SMC's only happened very very rarely.

Kill em all---good loot is a numbers game so the more you kill on average the higher chance you have.

Not neccesary to go to the POIs.

If you swoop around dath and you find yourself hanging in midair, looking back at your disabled bike....youve found a NS

Anyways....SMCs and NSs hang out ALL OVER dath - and you DONT have to look for them

So what is the SMC equiv. to the NS Elder?

I believe the SMC equiv to NS Elder is the SMC Councilwoman.

NS Elder = SMC Councilwoman

NS Protector = SMC Guardian

NS Spell Weaver = SMC Arch Witch

NS Stalker = SMC Dragoon

These are just the upper ones, the rest are pretty much all equal.

Yeah the SMC Council Women drops Premium Crystals same as the NS Elder.... I have also looted some nice LVAs and CAs from SMCs.

Although they do spawn randomly on Dath I find 90% of the time I find SMC Council Women and higher end SMCspawns in the northern part of Dathusually within a2000m of the POI.

Strangly enough they don't actually spawn at the POI village as you would expect!
