Looted this off a 'Meatlup Sub-Leutenant' near the Cnet cantina. It looks like a regular viewscreen, but with a description of 'a viewscreen with the Corellian Times logo on it.' I inspected it further, and a radial option appears to 'inspect' it...which brought up a screen that prompted me to accept or decline a quest. Curious, I accepted...and a series of quests involving various reporters for the Corellian Times and slaughtering Meatlumps arose. I continued the quest up until a certain point where you have to find a meatlump camp to the NE of Cnet....couldn't find any.

Has anyone ever looted one of these/done the quests?

Yeah...I was merely on my way to the cantina for an XP buff and noticed this group of meaties IN the city. I was like....'what are you guys doing in here?.'

So I drew my blaster...and started taking out the trash...

A minute of pointless violence and I end up finding one of the coolest (IMHO) items iv'e seen in a while.

Novel concept this quest giving viewscreen.

i know that you can loot an item in the myydryyl caverns that is called the Ren'salla Runestone, which takes you on a short quest.

With BE clothing still bugged I went in search of Meatlumps and completed what seems to be the first phase of the quest. I now have a nice little article about Meatlumps for my coffee table and the promise of more work for the Corellian Times in the future

Just finished it this morning. The dang journal lies to you, lol. The camp wasn't NE of Cnet at all...just east.

And yeah, I ended up with a nice little piece of fiction about the origins of Meatlumps and their illicit activities.

kill the meatlumps by the can in Cnet then go to the hospital talk to the lady. you can find the meatlump camp right outside the Cnet entrance by the starport. i looted a driod head schematic, that i guess goes with the headless driod schematic while doint it

They are lootable now eh? Before you could only get one by completing a quest that started with a protocol droid in Moenia. Interesting.

i got some credits and a advance copy of her article for the paper with reference to my character

she says after that she not finished and will have a job later for me so i guess got to wait for part 2 now
