Are lootkit parts still dropping? I'd like to get another few blue rugs.

You can still get the blue rug adhesive so I guess the other stuff is available as well.

More importantly, does anyone know WHY they were removed? Some of the cooler items in the game are the lootkit stuff, and they apparently put in a decent amount of effort into the whole 10 items into the kit thing, so why take them out?

It is my understanding they are being replaced with new loot kit items. Why it's taking so long, no idea.

no the other stuff isnt available...the blue rug adhesive is the only piece still available and its a quest reward

Why would they want to replace them? Can't they just add them instead of replacing them? Whats the point in removing something that you worked to create to add something new, when its easier to just make the new stuff and add it in?

Best guess - when they re-did the loot tables for the CU, they forgot the loot kit parts in the haste to push unproven and half-tested code to live to nab new players with the release of the movie, and they were left out. CL80 mobs still drop datapad parts, but the decorative items are gone completely, so it wasn't a complete wipe... Most likely a goof up.
Theory two - Maybe someone in India who was coding the publishes had issues with rugs, gongs and seriously fugly tables and statues....
On the good side, the next loot patch may include beef jerkey and Squishies!!!!!

havent heard the word fugly in ages...and that last part got me craxxin up

Wish I read this before I made my own thread. Oh well, I did like many of the things I saw. Heck, They didn't even have the courtesy of removing the kits from the Junk Dealers. You would think that, like many others have said, they would have kept those in the game since they do reflect time and effort put into design, coding, and other aspects of creating those things.
Also, I want a few without shelling out an arm and a leg (in this game, that can be quite literally.)
What I really want are the wanted posters of Luke,Han, and Leia. Unfortunately, I had to miss those since I came back after the CU. Maybe they were a bug in the loot tables, maybe they thought nobody needed anymore, Who knows? You know, business as usual here at SWG.
Granted I don't think that the game has that many flaws in the core of the game (at least now anyways), I do hate it when they remove content that should have no reason to be removed. I am half-tempted to start a petition to get those items back. Granted most of the people here probably have the items already, but I would like the newer players to get their crack at them.

My 2 cents.
