Thread: Rifle Quests and/or Loot

Okay, I've done tons of quests on Kashyyyk, looted many different weapons, but I've gotten everything BUT rifles. So my best weapon is still my Advanced Laser Rifle. Can anyone tell me if there's a MOB I can kill to loot a nice rifle, or a quest I can do for a good rifle? I'm a despirate rifleman here, please help me! You all are my only hope.!

I agree. I hear a lot about the Trandoshan, the Explosive Shell, the LD-1, the DC-15.. and then I hear that some are for squad leaders or bounty hunters. I guess I'm looking for a spoiler, by wanting to know stats and certs for them, rather than do a quest for 2 days just to find out my advanced laser is better or that I can't use it because I'm not this or that class.

Trandoshan, part of the avatar quest. Starts with the Rodian hunters.


I've seen screenshots of the weapon and it's stats, and different stats on each screenshot...



The good screenshot


Speed 2.5


DMG 520 -1040


Base DPS 312


Range 65


Specials 95



The bad screenshot had around 2.9 speed and damage of around 450-951 i believe.

Massassi Ink rifle and the Explosive Shell rifle nobody seems to know stats on.


Crystal rifle has poor stats.


Dawnsorrow rifle is a Squad Leader weapon, I don't remember the stats being so hot.


Loot and quest rifles appear to have random stats as well.


Yet I just saw a post about an advanced laser rifle with 2.1 speed, 521-1206 dmg, base dps 312?. Sliced, but unkrayted.



For all of you veteran riflemen out there, are the new quest rifles really worth it? Or should we just get chummy with a weaponsmith and smuggler and shower them with krayt tissues instead?

DC-15 Rifle from Boba Fett in Jabba's Palace.


LD-1 Rifle from Outcast Quests on Kash (You have to Kill the Kerritamba Arena champion, then speak to the outcast at the Kerritamba village entrance).


Trando Hunting Rifle Quests start with Boshaz in 1st Slaver camp on Kash.


Explosive Shell Sniper Rifle (Now called Fallaan Hyper Rifle) is the last wager with Soordaan in the Ettyyy Hunting Grounds.



My Opinion on the new Rifles:


DC-15 looks very cool and fires Blue Bolts, very aesthetically pleasing, but not as damaging as my Krayt T-21.

LD-1 & Explosive Shell Sniper Rifle - Mine are identical stats (I think) both kinetic damage and both are better than my Advanced Tusken Rifle.

Trando Hunting Rifle - Looks awesome and higher dps than my Krayt T-21.

No problem at all, glad to help


The Boshaz quests do have a space element, at least 1, maybe 2 space missions before you get rifle.


I am pilot 3333 and I had no problems, If space isn't your thing though, get a master pilot to group with you, you'll have the space parts done in no time.

Dont forget the covert retaliation from necrosis have about three of these...not sure of the stats...

Thank you very much MOB, I'll check out Boshaz and try and get a group to help me with the champion of the arena. I stink at pilot, so that rules out the hunting grounds and the clone rifle.
