Nightsisters at any level. I got a clear one a few days ago. Good quality 1120 condition.

Nightsisters always loot Crystals with a good rate and since nobody hunt them yu can make a nice "good" crystal collection tho. Btw better to tune 50 good atm than buyin a premium or some quality.

Don't shy away from the fair quality crystals you find at the Corsair POI.


I tuned 2 crystals recently at 93 -3 and 91 -2


This was out of a dozen or so other tunes. Impressive.

Tuskens will drop the one every now & then. Random spawns, not the POI.

Urrm the crystal cave on Dantooine I picked up about 5 or 6 just in the time I went down and back up! But they were all yellow oh well SOE wants me to have a yellow sabre!

I was wondering, now that canyon corsairs and aykarns(sp?) aren't looting them anymore, anyone know a good place to find good crystals?

Its not just nightsisters on Dath that drop good quality crystals regularly. The Singing Mtn Clan and Spider Cult/Clan/Whatever do as well. I've killed a few thousand NS and SMC and all will drop crystals but some types seem to drop more regularly than others.


The best droppers seem to be the SMC arch witches, SMC dragoons, NS elders, NS spellweavers, and NS protectors. Although NS stalkers and sentinels are CL85 they don't seem to drop as often for me. NS initiates also seem to have a lower drop rate for crystals. I haven't had much luck with NS below lvl 81. SMC arch witches are my personal favorite.


I wonder if the drop rate is pegged more on how hard they were pre-CU. Pre-CU the initiates were much easier to kill than the spellweavers and protectors and if my memory serves me well they didn't drop real well back then either. Now they are both pretty close (in that CL81-82 range).

Quality Crystals still drop, but only off stuff like DJM and the such... I have looted a few, but found it better to stick with perals since they are easier to get.

where do you find DJM? I was told they randomly spawn around MO about 1000m out but i spentages ridin around that area an bit further/ closer an found nothing.

ilooted 8, 2 green, a blue, 2 clear, and 3 yellow in the Crystal hunting cave on dant, not to mention a AA, CA and 20 worthless guns
