I read over the Aakuan thread and I can confirm that it does work. However, there's several vendors on our server (Kettemoor), that are restocked weekly with 50-100 CAs and AAs of the +3 to +9 variety. I can think of three vendors offhand that I've been watching closely. The one had 150+ attachments, and then was almost sold out. About 10 days later, the guy restocked with about 70 attachments. Just today he restocked again. He's got a ton of Jedi tapes as well. There's 2 other vendors that are stocked extremely well and filled with really good attachments. So my question is, how are these players doing this? I can't see that the Aakuan missions drop tapes fast enough to gather this many attachments. Just wondering what anyone's thoughts are on this.

they are afk camping the Aaukin cave. Using a macro. I can guarentee it!

definitely camping the aakuan cave..i should know i've tried going there a few times and the same people are always there. and then i've seen the same person who camps at the cave log on with there alt character and kill nyax, that would be where there getting the higher SEA. Also i tend to put the SEA i loot on my vendor probably below what there actual value is and i've had a certain person buy them all and seen them on there vendor for more.

you cab get the tapes by running missions as well...
random though... first camp I hit got 2 tapes in 4 kills...
3 mods on each tape, +11 to Weapon Systems Experimentation combined (Great for SW)
Drop rate is 1 in 20 champs 
But defenders drop em as well
But defenders drop em as well

nope. I've been running 2 lvl 75 camps about 300m apart. The take so far tonight:
AA: Carbine Speed 9/Pistol Accuracy 5
AA: Rifle Speed 9/Fire Resist 6
AA: Carbine Accuracy 4/Bleed Resist 8
CA: Artisan Assembly 2/Lightsaber Exp 5/One Hand LS Speed 4
CA: Defense vs Intimidate 7/Defense vs KD 5
2x Aa'kuan shirts (+10 bleed resist)
4x Aa'kuan belts (+10 disease resist)
1x Aa'kaun ring (+5 ranged defense)
1x SR-5 combat pistol (champ dropped)
Champs dropped AA's, Defenders dropped CA's. Killed about 100 defenders, 30 champs.

Eldath I think Im one of those people your talkin about....First of all Im never AFK when Im there...trust me....The reason why i get so many attachments in a quick time is because some Pistoleer decides to bug the spawn so they are spawning nonstop,one of the things I like to do is take them away from him...plus it take 3 person group to outdamage me which does help me out a lot....But I only camp when I get short of credits and bc I want to make myself a sweet suit that helps me out(Almost there) 
...then I camp til I get a good jedi(s) CAs throw them onto the vendor and they be gone by the next day....as far as drop rate goes in the cave its 1 of 8 Ill get a CA/AA....see you ingame eldath

Thanks for all the replies. I wanted to get some CAs and AAs for a few friends. I'll run some Aakuan missions this week.

Pistoleers have an attack that can bug the cave thats all I'll say
