Just wondering how you guys go about costing out the sevices MID can do ?
Up untill now I have charged 10k for a stat migrationand everything else I just ask the customer to pay what they think is a fair price. More often than not the customer pays between 5k - 10k. I don't stand in the ID tent at all unless I'm meeting a customer there. Most of my ID-ing business is done through tel's and word of mouth.
How do you guys charge things out ?

10k for a stat migrate everything else I just tell the customer to pay what they feel is apropriate. I enjoy the makeovers so I don't mind doing them for free. I allways throw holoemotes in for people with my IDs, never had a request for them so I don't really know what I'd do there.
All my business is done through tells, sometimes I'll just sit outside Cnet starport with my title up if I'm bored and I'm just chatting to guildies.

Stat migrations 20k, because I hate them. If someone balks at the price, I suggest that a novice might be willing to do the migration for the xp.
All other services - by tip. I maintain a list of people who've stiffed me or been exceedingly cheap. If any of those people contact me for services, my fee is 20k.
I've done free services for people who are obviously brand new to the game or my server.

Stat Migration will be going away.
To be honest I've been wondering what to charge for other stuff, we probably need to come up with some ideas.

Right now I have been charging 20k for stat migrations. Almost always, folks agree to the price when I give it to them. There are not too many IDs around so theyusually fold up and agree to it when I refuse to do it for less or free. As for cosmetic changes, I go for gratuity. Usually I do pretty good, ranging from 5k (he was pretty new, to 100k). Most of the tips are usually around 40k.

I have no fixed prices for any ID changes I just tell them to tip me what they feel the changes or stat migrate is worth, it works out fairly well asquite a few times i've been tipped over 50k for a stat migrate.
