Just thought I would say something about this comment (no ranting). I think, me included if tattoos were added I would wear the least amount of clothing possible and get the most tattoos possible! I am sure there would be lots of people (not exactly like me) that would get tattoos and show them too, so I do not believe covering up would be an issue.

Also, what if master artisan can make radio-active paints? these could augment player stats with the tattoos. Now to keep the whole "checker-board" idea in mind why not make these un-abtrusive(sp?) buffs. Like +'s to natural regeneration, so it would be an after-battle thing and not during. Also the restriction could be like no armor (mayb eeven clothing?) can cover 'radio-active tattoos' (only ones with buffing abilites). So maybe a master ID and a master ID could create some tattoo that could give resists (like no more then 10% or so)and such but at the sacrifice of armor.

These are kinda poorly put together ideas but I hope you get what I am trying to say. The idea of body tattoos was kinda the thing that I thought would keep me playing this game so it is kina important to me. And i'm sure if they were added many, MANY people would love the Devs.

Actually I think it would be easy to add tatoos ,,but they would be equiped similar to a nightsister armor bicep,,when I equip mine,,the sleeve ofa shirt will go blank,,so it displays,,and that would then mean there would be a way to also have two on each arm,,,equiped similar to armor,,,and then there could be more than one pattern / design and all craftable at various levels on the tree.

And even though, it would function like a armor item,,the artwork would be rather easy,,and then it could be a craftable item in the image designer tree,,which might satisfy some that want crafting added to our profession

Yeah this is bullsh*cough*, if i had a tattoo i'd dress so that i could show it..Or even better, make new clothes shematics for sleeveless shirts etc..

Why did they add hairstyles at all? I mean it can get coveredby a helmet!

If we got tatoos i would go out and buy clothes that reveal as much of it as possible.
