Interspecies hairdos was an exploit that has since been fixed, so it cannot be done anymore. Furthermore, a hotfix was put in to revert illegal interspecies hairdos back to normal species hairdos. However, the hotfix did not work for everyone, and some characters are stuck with interspecies hairdos.

its an exploit and i think they need to start banning the idiots who are doing it
the bad thing with wookies and moncals because they dont have a traditional hair slot that person will never be able to look like a real moncal again
well not untill the devs fix it and its not high on thier list
so i realy hope they love the look cause they are stuck with it

but givin male a (same specie)female haircut is not an exploit ?

Some hairstyles for species are the same for both male and female. If it's a unisex style that just seems more female, no. If it is one of the female-only ones, yes. Same with a male-only style on a female.
