Thread: What the hell?! I have an outstanding image design offer

Or some crap. I haven't been able to ID myself all damn night. I even /sit /logout and came back in 20 mins later to no avail.

This has happened to me before. Usually there are a couple of cases that cause this:
1. someone was ID'ing you, either yourself or someone else, and they lagged out. They log back in however, they can't do a thing about it. That probably means that they tried to do an ID on you and in the middle of the process they went LD, and you never saw the eccept/decline.
You'll have to either log out for 30 minutes to an hour or just wait for the server reset.
2. You were listening to music to get your mind healed while ID'ing. That's a big no no. Don't ever do that because that can also screw you up as well. There is some bug that can do the same thing to you.
You'll have to do same as above.
Not much else you can do about this hon. Except wait for the next day.

If you look in the FAQ above, they do tell you the workaround for this, and I've done it, and it does work, though it is just a workaround, not an actual fix for it, but you at least can continue to do ID this way if this happens to you or the person you are ID'ing.

That's gotten a heck of a lot worse since the patch (happened to me upwards of 30 times while grinding today)
The secret to getting rid of it for you people who don't want to peruse the faq is:
Your client is stuck with the outstanding offer:
Target yourself using ctrl 1 and type /im
Target them and type /imagedesignSetValue eye_color 0(any number or hair_color or something like that will work too depending on the species)
have them accept and they should be fixed.
You are stuck with the stupid offer:
Find someone to image design on and target them
Type /im
Target yourself and type /imagedesignSetValue eye_color 0 (or as above, anything including hair_color etc...)
Accept the change
You should be un-broken =)

i know and i know how this is cause ( my case at least ) , when u grind on sombody with a marco if u unselect them it offers to ureself but no screen ever shows , thats how it happens

One of the options in the options screen under misc is clicking nothing untargets self or somesuch. Unselect it—this should happen a lot less often.

I need to include that tip in my guide Syzygy, untargeting is pesky for so many aspects of ID.
