Thread: Hair color
I just saw a guy with a neon green mowhawk
anyone know how to set colors through the command line when you are changing hair color? I assume this is how you would get the colors that are for some reason not on the pallet in the selection menu
They are intentionally not in the palette, and using the command line to work around that is considered an exploit. So I strongly advise against using this for an exploit, but if you want to change hair color through the command line, it's: /imagedesignsetvalue self hair_color #. The "self" part is only if you're working on yourself, of course.
There is no way (in my knowledge)of making human hair green. The green mohawk was probably rhodian hair dumped onto a human head. This is an exploit.AlthoughI'm not exactly sure where the devs have posted this - regardless we're not supposed to be able to do it. If we were supposed to be able to do it, we would have the ability without using code. Therefore, using an unintended aspect of the system for your own gain = exploit. There is no way around that. There are numerous posts in this forum indicating such, including Rilawyn's FAQ (stickied up top). If you mess around with codes for an exploit, you may get into trouble - get disciplined, banned or other nasty stuff, regardless of whether the devs have posted in big letters "this green mohawk is an exploit" on these boards.
On the bright side, we are going to get bright colors - legitimately - in the near future. I would suggest that you wait until then - it's not worth getting disciplined over a hairdo.
