I would love to me a member or leader of one on Kettemoor, I think it could be a multi-server PA. There are 5 servers with 10 or more IDers listed in the sticky. Also having ID PAs would help us get the respect and devs time we need.

P.S. I see a few adventages in doing this

1. It marks you as a real IDer and not just a Holocroner


2. The PA Hall could be the Studio/Spa with several sharing the same build for IDing customers can come to us, because they know an IDer would likely be there.

It's just my personal opinion that specific-function PA's are narrow and boring. I want respect, but not to be entirely defined by one profession (particularly since each character can have up to 3). I think the point of a PA is to help each other out, and for that I want diversity and interdependence, not uniformity.

In theory it would work the same way a normal chat channel would, but folks on servers other than the one it was crated on would have to join via /chatroom join SWG.[Server].Chat.[Channel]

That would be super-cool. I'm game (if it works on test center...)

I'd swear TH said it could…something like TestCenter for the server name…I'll have to see if I can find the post where he talks about cross-server communication.

*sigh* You're right…I was misremembering. It was a post by Q, and he does clearly state TC uses a different chat server. Darn. (Big old MSN chat anyone? Hehehe)

I've tried linking up with chat rooms on different servers, but so far I haven't been able to get it to work.
