Well... I started a character on TC. Immediately I realized that all my characters looked.... well "fugly" for a lack of a better term. Why they look different in-game than in char creation, I'll never know. So... that accelerated my leisurely crawl to master.

This time I tried to do it as last time: do a few designs, deplete the mind bar, dance until it refills, rinse, repeat. That was going ok. Then I tried out that new brandy stuff. Oh, I'll never take muon again. 40 minutes of love, no downer. On very nice brandy (2 doses = full stomach) I could keep up perfectly with cheek modifications (on a 3 second delay). I don't remember how long it took me, after that, but I don't think I used more than 10 doses of brandy total. Yeah, I didn't sit there grinding for hours straight, but I finished in 2-3 days, thanks to a lovely fellow on TC who trained me repeatedly (even though I have no money to speak of ... more survey missions!!)

It's very different the second time around!!

Congratulations!! Definitely wish Kwee had had brandy back in the day, the stats are awesome. Here's Vandessa's Chef Food/Drink website again, everyone check it out, it lists all the new benefits

A little tip for macro use: don't just start up your macro on a poor unsuspectingvictim until he or she is ready. By ready, I don't mean at the keyboard. I mean that the first time the ID box appears on the screen, he or she has to get the mouse into position. This can take around 4 seconds. The 2-second pauses are fine once he or she has the mouse in the right position, but having 2 seconds to get all set up is not enough. I would suggest doing a few "singles" before launching into the macro. Even if you have 2 machines and you're doing it yourself, you still need an extra second to turn to the other computer and get your bearings.

I don't have anything to contribute, but I cannot let this thread go by without commenting:

Oh. My. God. The title ROCKS! (I say "[insert title here] part II, Electric Boogaloo" ALL THE TIME! Funny, no one else gets it...)

Yeah, I found the second time around to be about the same--though, I wanted Master and I wanted it NOW! Hehe. Took me a certain amount of time that I am afraid to mention.

Yay!

It's hard on a new server to prove yourself. I proudly announced "I'm a master image designer" to which I got varied responses such as "so's everyone else who has 2 hours and a friend who can click really fast."

Ok fine, I have to do this the hard way: regain my rightful reputation for my work.

I've taken 3 appointments so far, all left very satisfied customers. Total overhauls on two of them - they came in for a hair change, but when I tactfully mentioned a jaw issue, the first admitted that she had been designed by a grinder who couldn't put her back. Imagine, if you will, a female with everything set to max on the face - jaw, cheeks, nose, chin... I put it allto anaesthetically pleasing place (I have no idea what she looked like before)and she said she could go out in public again! The third came in for a lekku change, and ended up with a complete overhaul (to which she remarked, that's what I get for clicking random too many times on character creation) and then tipped me 5k. That's a LOT of money on TC! I was blown away!

It just goes to show - there may be a lot of masters, but very few masters.
