Hi all, as I posted in this thread, I'm pretty new to ID, but I've been a Tailor for most of my SWG career. I was thinking about starting a full makeover service, since my BE clothing market is, um... fubar. I was thinking something along the lines of 50k for three full outfits and an ID session, but my husband thinks I'm not charging for my time with setting the price that low. I feel it's fair. Are there any ID's who offer such a service? I realize every server's economy is different, but I'd like to get an idea of how much you charge. Thanks in advance!

Just make sure that you are adding up the individual costs of the outfits in your server economy and it does add up. It's really easy to guesstimate clothing costs "low" when you forget about adding in jewelry, footwear, and whatnot. After you add up the clothing costs for every piece, then tack on a reasonable fee for ID.

Yeah, that's always been a big problem for me, because when it comes to making clothes I've never had a set price. The things that went to my vendor did (though not necessarily based on CPU of resources and whatnot), but for custom orders I'd raise or lower my price depending on how big a pain the client was.

well you hve to also take into consideration which dresses you make for girls for instance....
like the grand ball gown, you make 3 of those for example, those things are easily about 40-45k cost a person if you follow the tailor price list they have in the faq's in spreadsheet form.....
so really you'll be getting 5k from the ID
HOWEVER
You make 3 outfits like low cut top, revealing skirt or whatever.... that is like i dunno about 15-20k total.... so u get more money for ID work....

I have a tailor and an ID. I do this for people sometimes. I made my friend look just like Luke from ROTJ lol. I don't know what to charge because, well I don't charge for clothing or id work. It is a really good idea hope it works out for you.
