I came up with this at the Entertainer Roundtable discussion a few days ago, and was told I should post it here since no one had brought up the idea before...
I think IDs could get missions where they are given an image, then have to go to an NPC target and change the target's look to match the image (to a reasonabledegree of course), and then receive the payout. I haven't really thought about the amount of the payout or how far away the NPC targets should be, though I imagine the payout would vary with the distance and complexity of the changes.
Just an idea I thought I'd toss out there. I was an ID over a year ago, but dropped it well before the big changes took place.

We've batted around the idea of missions before and the reason I personally think that they don't work is because they lack the key element of interaction. I feel as if the whole point of the profession is to work on clients. Plus, people have a hard time finding an ID as is, and taking more ID's out of the market to perform NPC missions will make it more difficult to find an ID.
Having said this, I realize that it's hard for low level ID's to find customers, so if such missions were implemented, I would support them being implemented for the entertainer boxes only up to novice ID.

well what about some quests for ID's that would give special stuff like special hairstyles, special this or that.... only to the ID that has completed it. It could help create more business for a person who has completed it because people would be forced to use a person who has completed it....
i dunno... just an idea, its almost 1 am, i'm at work and about to fall asleep.....
