Can an image designer modify someone enough to the point that they are no longer recognizable to NPC or other players?

That might include the players *name*?

Unfortunately not. This has been a major wish list item of the Image Designer community. I doubt they would ever allow name changes, but temporary neutral faction for npc's...maybe Here's hoping. It would certainly increase demand.
