I want my character to be a plastic surgeon. I've worked my way close to Master Medic so far and I'm starting to climb the ID tree of Entertainer as well. Right now I just ask someone if I can mess with their hair over and over, to get xp. Fifty points per color change. Is there anything I can do later that gives more xp? As a medic, I get more xp for crafting the better meds, as well as for using them. I can't imagine getting people to click that box the thousands of times it will take me to get as high as I am wanting in the ID profession. Any insight?

Thanks

Hello!!! I just love to see aspiring new plastic surgeons out there! and I would love to help you every way that I can !

Deemon Sunseeker is the name, I am currently an Image Designer on Scylla! And to simply answer your question, yes.. there are things that at higher level give better xp per click... however to make it slightly more complicated.. These ones that give more xp also take more mind points to use overall.. the best things that you can change to make good xp is Lipcolor, Eyeshadow, and Hair Color! Why is that you ask?Well even though they seem not to give much xp at the start, they only take 39 mind points to use which is quickly regenerated ( this is on a charactor with 600 focus.. as a mon calamari im sure that you have more )

Simply putting it.. you get 50 xp for 39 mind points with those 3 changes.. you can also do a higher one that gives you 75 xp however it takes 79 mind! (higher or lower depending on your focus..) now.. if your focus is alot higher these changes might be better for you (as there are many items that you can chug down to give you a quick boost of focus and provide you a better ratio.. when you do this there are things that will give you as much as 125, 150, 275, and 325 xp.. however these things take a very high amount of mind are normally arent the best way to get xp.. this remains to be the 3 simple changes that you can spam really quick to gain a large sum of XP.. really though if you tried.. you can master ID faster then almost any other profession you will just need to click alot and have the money to train ( or someone to train you )..

I hope this helped out.. and if you are ever over on Scylla feel free to give Deemon Sunseeker a tell if you have any questions!

Hey, thanks a lot for the advice and friendly attitude!

All of my mind stats are maxed, but I think my focus is still around 600. I tend never to lose mind doing anything though, as long as I sit while I'm doing it, so I'll look forward to those more advanced options.

I don't mind endlessly clicking, but it's tough to find a willing patient! They are not getting any xp out of it. I am more than willing to compensate them, but my means are rather modest right now. Oh well, I'm sure I will get there! Ockto's Plastic Surgery and Emergency Care Clinic will open its doors one day!

Thanks again.

heh, Np man.. always like to help out a fellow image designer.. but yea I usually found it easier to find another image designer that wanted to get Xp too... there is a way you could assign you windows so you can just click on an emote and click4 times and you both get xp.. basically all you need to do is find someone who is in the same situation as you are and get them to help you out.

Remember to sit when you're grinding out designs, your mind will heal faster. Always use change hair color. Yeah it's only 50 a pop, but once you get in the groove you churn out a whole bunch of color changes and still keep your mind bar pretty full. Once you get the option to change eyebrow shape, toss one of those into your training process everynow and then for 125 exp. This will eat anywhere from 1/3 to 1/4 of your mind bar depending how large it is (mine is 800). And start working on your apprentice exp now, offer to train for half price. It may not seem like that much of a discount in the novice entertainer tree, but the higher level skills cost 6,7,8, and 9K a box so you're saving your fellow IDs a good amount of credits and slowly gaining back the cash you put out on training.

Don't forget, if you can't find a willing victim err client, you can image design yourself (/im self). Admittedly you will only get about 1/4 the exp you would id'ing someone else. But it is better than nothing if you can't find someone to work on.

It should be pointed out that wookies and mon calamari's don't have the option to self style until ID2 or 3 when your able to change eyecolor.

Hmmm Scylla seems to have more ID"s than any other server.

What planet and city are you at Deemon? Myself and two other aspiring ID's are at Coronet, Corellia.

I wish I had known this about eye colour =( I could have saved a lot of sitting out waiting for mind to recharge.

however it did give me time to destroy my action bar getting the next tiers in ent heal and dance, so not a total loss =)
