A meeting of ID's might be in order so we can discuss a pricing structure for our services. I am usually happy to work for tips, but there are those few 'difficult' individuals that spoil the honor system for the rest.

Wow, lots popping up on Naritus now! Congrats on the mastery! I am waiting for a deed to set up a shop in Theed as we speak. Any of you guys who want to work out of it feel free to come by anytime once it is set up. I will post the waypoint here on the board when I am done furnishing and all that. I myself have not set a price on my services either.I stopped wearing the tag over my head about 3 days after I made master because I was sick of the spam fromthe more immature crowdwho didn't so much as tell me thank you after I finished giving them what they wanted. Most of the people who have found me have tipped generously, some more than others but I always thank them even if its only500credits for the work I have done. I would be interested in a more structured pricing system once the shop is set up though so it seems more professional. I don't want to find out I am chargingX for something when someone else is charging much more and feel like I am taking customers. Would be nice if we could set up a meeting just to get to know each other as well!

Here is the pricing structure I have just adopted for myself:

"Field" prices -

Body changes: 3000

Face changes: 1500

Any color change (except skin): 500

Tatoo/marking change: 1000

Hair style change: 750

Age: 4000



Salon prices -

Body changes: 2000

Face changes: 1000

Any color change (except skin): 250

Tatoo/marking change: 250

Hair style change: 750

Age: 2500

Prices are negotiable. I've not finalized this yet, but it seems reasonable to me. We all need to unite & agree on some prices, otherwise we'll be undercutting each other and making it difficult for our fellow ID's. And you all know how difficult it is to make a living off ID work.

I've set up a salon (I don't know the waypoint off hand, but its next door to Sho-ho's).
My pricelist is available in game via email. Email me if you'd like a copy of it. If this seems reasonable to us forum posters, I suggest we try to spread the word around to the other ID's that don't read the forums.

If these prices seem high, think about this: people will pay in excess of 40,000 credits for a set of armor; they most certainly can afford 750 credits for new hair, or 2000 credits for more muscle. And remember it is a _luxury_ item we sell. Sho-ho sells dresses for 6000 credits. And what good is a dress? Its as advantagous as a new hairdo. We should easily be able to get these prices out of people (and I imagine a _lot_ higher too).

Looks good to me, if everyone agrees on it. I also agree on being able to get higher payment out of people but the base prices will appealto most I imagine. This is where the tipping will come in handy! If someone is pleased I am sure they will tip above what we are going to charge. I ran around last night looking for a spot to build my house but nothing really struck me. I am gonna try again today though.
