Some changes are just hard to notice, especially facial ones. I dunno what your problem could be beyond that.

There is no bug the problem is that you are looking in the dialog box to see the changes, you need to move the in game camera so that you can see your chracters face while in 3rd person view. As you move the slider you will see the color of what ever you are changeing update. As for Lekku, Hair, and Horn patern you don't get real time updates. Also if you don't have the skill to keep there current Hair/Horn style it will still show in the box but you will not beable to change it. I had this happen to myself when I tried to change my horn patern (I'm Zabarak) it showed my current patern with my white horns, so I selected it, and it kept the patern but since I couldn't change horn colors at the time it made my horns black.

As far as the View with Change / View with out change option that shows what your character will look like with the new hair style if you have the camera positioned correctly as in viewing Eye color change. It doesn't show up in the Dialog box, only in the game screen. Hope that helps.

I am a full time dancer and part time Image Designer, but I fear I may have to drop ID because of a disability.

This may be a bit long, but please bear with me

<sighs and settles down on a Cantina chair>

When I first created my own look, before I even knew what a Cantina was, I styled my lekku, tilted my eyes and nose, sculpted a dancer's body but noticed that eyeshadow and lip color didn't change, no matter what I did.

Okay, I figured, that must be the way things are for a Twi'lek girl in this world.

When I tried to image design on myself, I could change my lekku into 4 positions, but no matter what I did to the eyeshadow bar and the lip color bar, I never saw a change.

Indeed this funny window popped up and said view with change, view without change. How silly! There was no picture there.. no actual WAY to view the change, and I continued to go on.

Then I tried ID on someone else. They were VERY upset that I had changed their horn pattern and color and all I thought I did was click on the box that came up the their horn pattern already highlighted. Fortunately, someone else was there who could make them right again!

The last straw was today, when a master image designer came into the Cantina. One of the other dancers was so excited about her new look (she was a Twi'lek too) that I asked her to change my lips from the usual peach color I always see to a pink. I thought.. maybe only master image designers can change lip color for Twi'leks! She did something to me.. asked how I liked it. I could see no change. None at all. She couldn't believe I couldn't see anything. But there was nothing in the dialogue box that opened while she worked on me. And there was no change when I looked at myself. She then changed my lips to bright purple, like the color of her shades (which I could see).

Now I know there is something wrong with me!!! Does anyone know why I cannot see these things?

Thanks

I found my problem.. passing it on in case it happens to anyone else.

I had most of my options set low to improve my performance, When I changed View Character from Low detail to high detail, I looked completely different! I could see my eyebrows, eyeshadow, lipstick color and freckles.

I looked pretty different! For giggles you might like to change that option to see how you look in low rez.

Anyway.. I am now able to ID again!
