Thread: I'm just about fed up!
It has been three days that I've been searching for an Image Designer on the Intrepid server, in the Naboo-Theed general area. Three days, and the results are as follows:
The first master image designer I ran into at the starport. I promptly, and politely,/tell and ask her if she wasn't too busy that I would like a new hairstyle. No reply. After about five minutes I send a following/tell asking her what her general price range was for a new hairstyle. No reply. As I'm standing next to her she calls up a swoop bike and speeds away. No big deal, I /tell and ask if she's too busy. I would understand if she was, of course. I've been there myself with my own master image designer. No response. After a minute or so (I'd already went off to find the next) she sends me a /tell to let me know that she was, indeed, too busy to help me. That she was logging off.
No big whup. Like I said, I understand. About an hour later I do a general search for Image Designers and there she is, the same ID. Still online. I immediately put her on ignore.
The next two master image designers were found dancing in the cantina. One was a guy, the other a girl. Neither of them specified that they were away from the keyboard, so I sent a /tell to the girl first... figuring she would be more familiar with the styles I wanted. No reply. For 20 minutes. After running some missions I come back and see that they are both still there. Neither "AFK". So I send a /tell to the guy. No reply. For the rest of the night.
The next morning I log in and both of them are still there. Difference being, the girl finally had the common decency to put "AFK" above her name.
Finally I log in this evening and do a general search for an Image Designer, like I usually do when I want one. A tattoo artist comes up, so I promptly (and as always politely) send a /tell asking how her skill was in hairstyling. No reply. In my travels I happen to come across her. No "AFK" tag, nothing. I send another /tell, just to be sure... no reply. I continue on my merry way doing missions without a word from any of these people.
I have a Master Image Designer, myself... and if I was *ever* that rude I would lose customers. I'm known as being a particularly nice and patient Image Designer, and that's why people are always recommended to me. These particular four Image Designer's have now all lost my business, are on my ignore list, and will receive nothing but poor recommendations from me. There aren't a lot of Image Designers (period) so the one's that we do have should strive their best to BE the best. Not rude liars, and especially not AFK-drones who don't appropriately label themselves so.
So I'm done with Intrepid Naboo. I'm going to try my hand on Intrepid Corellia next.
So far this server gets a big "F" in the service column.
