Thread: ID Question from someone who knows nothing about ID

Hi all you Image Designers !
I hope you are a nice friendly bunch like us Architects 
and will be happy to enlighten me on something. I am a mon-cal, all green and ugly. I want to be all white and ugly. Is this something you can do? I don't mean White spots or stripesor anything like that, Imean white all over.What is the routine and how long does it last? Do I have to come back every week for a 'top-up' or is it permanent ? Finally, how much should I expect to pay for this service (roughly-I am sure everyone has their own pricing models)?

Off hand I am not sure how white we can make Moncal's but I think it's pretty light if not quite pure white.
All ID changes are perminant except for holo-emotes which have a limited number of used.

Oh and the routine is find a freindly ID and they will talk you through the process (best to use Kwee's galaxy listings) and the cost I guess will be a few K - 5K maybe - something like that.

Thanks for the replies. I did look through the FAQ, but was still uncertain if a full body color change was possible for mon-cals or whether it was just the spots and stipes that could be changed. I will contact a Bria ID soon. Any recommendations? Is this work something for Masters or should I look for somebody who wants some xp ? (just trying to help out the ID as much as I can if possible)

Everything you could do at character creation can be done by an ID, and more (for Mon Cals that means additional colors in every palette and holoemotes).

Only masters can change skin color.... and they don't need exp....
If you are going for a whole new ugly look (LOL), you're best bet is to find a high level or master image designer to help you.

If you can get a master to it, you might have them try changing your skin color to the very last row, 8th square to the right. Its a whitish color with a light teal hue. They can then change your markings to the same color on the palette so you have a uniform solid color. Its the closest to white that I saw when soing a stat migration on a mon cal earlier today.

Mon Cals have a sickly off-white available for their skin color. I briefly considered it for one of mine, but decided against it as it is a truely horrible shade and not a true white at all.

I think, like Zabrak, they also have a marking-less head setting, so you wouldn't need to worry about matching up marking colors.
