I'm not sure whether this has been brought up or not.. so if it has, my humble apologies.
I have a suspicion that when hologrinding goes bye-bye, two things might happen.
1. Stat Migrations will go up in price. When there are no more hologrinding ID's giving away free migrations for exp, people will actually have to start paying for it *gasps*.
2. Uh oh.. more stat migrations. Yeah.. the sad truth is that with fewer Image Designers, there will be a higher demand for Stat migrations shoved onto the rest of us. I'm not saying that we will necessarily have to DO them.. but the demand will be there, even if it's subtle at first. Especially when the combat patch comes around. Every Tom **edit** and Harry will want a migration when they can only buff to 800 health. *grins*

if they remove or reduce the migration timer for masters this won't be a big issue.... The people that truely want to be a master will still take the profession and the people that are unable to get a doctors buff will still pay to have stat changes.

I'm actually not really that much concearned about the end of the hologrinding for us... Before the xp for statmigrations were raised to 2k nearly no hologrinding ID did any statmigrations and prizes were allright. Then came the xp-raise and the hologrinders took up many migrations which naturally let prizes drop.
Now that the grinding is nearly at an end prizes will more or less revert to normal and everything will be fine. sure, there will be players that will say: 'But last week I didn't have to pay for it at all'... but since there will be no more grinders around (or atleast only a few) things will get back to normal pretty fast.
So no worries
May the Force be with you all!

And as mentioned above(but i feel it is good to point it out.) this is not the end to grinding... just hologrind.. (but they are gona make it harder for the poor grinders...)
Oh and by the way... i have to commit a grave sin... or two actualy... i powergrinded my ID before the patch... and i grinded my tailor... I'm sutch a bad person.. =P But then again... most ppl before the patch woudl only let you train id if you did not powergrinded... Anyhoe it will be very interesting to see the new face of the game in the months to follow. Take care all...

it's when you and a friend or an alternate character of yours sits int he tent and one person rus an accept script and you sit and stat after stat after stat after stat you way to master then you drop it and pursure the next profession.
