Ok.. You use a chemical crafting tool/station you inject some bio matter and you create point movers!!!

-10 mind / etc

+10 stamina /etc

these are consumable stat movers and take resources, crafting time and they are sellable tot he people that screw up thier sliders and need that extra point moved and don't want the ten minute workout again.

There are (I think) 144 combinations of -mind/+health, -con/+str, etc. alterations that can be made. If the tools were different per stats, that's a lot of schematics.

I don't think this would work out because of the simple fact that it would start to change our profession from a socializing one into just another crafting prof.... thre would be factory crates of thos stuff for sale just so others don't have to come and talk to us anymore. That's definitly not what I want our profession to be turned into.

As far as the number of schematics goes, I remember a Tailor/Armorsmith friend telling me she'd gotten more schematics than the game could handle and she had to call things by numbers, or couldn't make a macro because they weren't assigned numbers beyond 256 or something. It was very strange.

Anyway, 144 stat migration tools alone is a lot of things to make. If the tool allowed the user to pick which direction he wanted to migrate which stats in, then yes, I envision factory crates of tools being sold rather than visits to the ID.

you looking at it too technially... stop thinking factory crates and 2 billion little craftable combinations...

it could be a tool, like holdable that can allow you to "touch up a stat" like -10 to a setting or +10 to a setting or something 1-10 or 1-5.. something anything to advoid a 10 min restat for a 5 points of change. Ideally if you wanted to look at the medical feild they craft a action healing liquid and it retores lost points on that stat.. since we need to be more percise than a random roll to minus a stat or add a stat make the value inputable in the creation or use.

reallly simple really quick no 10 million schematics think simple think effeicient.

Interesting idea, very much thinking outside the box. Unfortunately I dislike it I just have no interest in being a crafter. If I did, I'd be a tailor!

Erann, it's a very good idea...but unfortunately SOE isn't interested in our good ideas unless it involves increasing time or money sinks.

I had several peopel this weekend try to complain to me about needing only 50 points moved.. and I kept sounding like a broken record.. "It still takes ten minutes to migrate stats, and it still costs 10,000 cr."

I was just in a sour mood all weekend.. I dumped muscian and collapsed entertainment saving ID only.. now everywhere's I look I wanna either dance or play music and now my damn entertainer droid won't even do anything.. I'm soo depressed over this whole career change this combat go is soo not fun takes soo much time, the pay sucks getting sent to the cloners sucks Wearing armor sucks, duribilities on things suck. having to be buffed sucks not being able to stat others on the run sucks.. I miss my canvas prison, the wild rual wildlands is too scarey..

I've seen a decrease in players in the tents in the last week.. I think everyone is leaveing thegame ot on the test center?
