Ok guys well for the most part YES I am Grinding the ID profession. Im doing it because I have too its part of the game, and Im trying to get where I want my character to be. I dont care for all you people out there who are crying about THOSE GUYS ARE GRINDING MY PROFESSION your the ones who suck... Its not my fault that SOE decided to screw your profession by leading thousands of players in that direction. (not like SOE cares what you think anyway considering the past). You should be glad I'm grinding your profession anyway, The faster I get it over with the faster I surrender it. Don't get me wrong im not Knocking the ID profession but its not my main goal in the game and I didn't and don't want to be an ID. So for all of you that posted things to help me THANK YOU for all of you that are crying and pointing your finger at me about Grinding get over it and live with it, Write SOE and tell them to send me a holocron for Master Marksman 
P.S.
If I wanted to play a part of a beautician I would have bought Barbie's Hair Salon........

You're being a little bit of a hiprocrate here, you say if you can't post anything nice don't post anything at all, but you yourself are being very negative. I gotta say you seem a bit full of yourself, and reading your thread you come off as a complete ass. I mean, people are allowed to believe that grinding is bad, i mean it's not exactly RPing is it? You don't have to post a thread just to spite them! Jees Louise

Im not trying to be negative I'm just a little upset that people are being jerks to me because im grinding a profession, I dont want to offend anyone im just stateing how i feel. Sorry if i offend anyone but, blame SOE for the grinding **edit** not players who are forced to do so.

Hey to be honest I can't beleive im replying once more, this is what the problem is everyone has a problem with people that are grinding a professionbecause well basically they are forced to. The reason why I started this post is because when I asked for some help doing a macro for ID I got ripped up one side down the other, So naturally I'm going to post some ignorant stuff---> after the fact... For Some reason I thought I could get some help here but I guess this is just a rip fest, and all it comes down to is that no matter what you post, there is always some beat-off that has to jump in and be a jerk because he or she doesn't like what others are doing in the game WHEN it doesn't even concern them and it doesn't affect them in any wayI know I know if your an Image Designer you can't find customers because everyone and there mom are ID's well hey HURRAY for Grinders, Grinders want to get the **edit** thing over with and surrender it..... SO help them out get them leveled and out of the way, Because I know when I master it in which I hope to do in 2 days I'm not going to hold onto it. Its not like I sit in a cantina browseing for customers I just need one to do my thing and wamo im Done with it. I'm sorry your all easily affended and some of you should not read so much into a post, because you totally missed my point my point wasnt to offend my point was that I think its stupid and childish to treat others bad when they ask a simple question and all they get is ripping - If you think about it its a big waste of time for all. beleive me if it wasnt for the Jedi skill this would not be a problem and for all that hate or dont like the way people are going about getting that skill please send emails to SOE this is not my fault and I just come here for answers not stupidity.. Everyone keeps saying "I grinded ID in 30 mins, ID takes less than a day, etc" but how and where? If anyone has any steps and the macros used please help a curious soul out.

Didn't it change so you couldn't macro it?
I dunno anymore...
But yeah, ID is up there with Squad Leader for absolutely downright easiest profs to grind ever. We're talking half-an-hour stuff here.

macroing ID is really very easy. i used the FAQ stuff there to help me out with that. i feel bad for macroing, but i remember the first time i mastered ID it took me hours and hours and months to get it done. i am gaining back some of the ID skills now in anticipation of the new publish. so, today infact, my avatar sat down with my boyfriend's and he selflessly helped me grind ID for a good hour or two. from the entertainer levels to 3200 on the ID tree. eventually i decided i would rather make out with him than ID his toon for exp

shame on me just drink some brandy and eat some canape constantly and you can just keep the macro looping. 'm so awful.
i will probably burn in hell for posting this, but i did enjoy the time i got to spent with my love in my cantina, just him and i, chatting and poking him with needles

/imagedesignSetValue eye_color 1; (or hair_color 1 for the first two boxes of the entertainer levels)

just write that macro, put it in the very last slot on the top key of the hotbar (either that or change the number to wherever you put it remembering the first key i 0, so 00, 01, 02.... 10, 11 etc) just let it loop and you are free to talk with your vicitm maybe 'm making this too easy for rowyn

I'm of the personal opinion that people who can't be bothered to look through the FAQ that we worked so hard to put together, shouldn't have the answers handed to them on a golden platter. That's just me though. /shrug

Rowyn, If that post doesn't answer all your questionsyou may want totalk to Jennicca. She has done ID at least twice if I remember correctly. If you are stillstuck later send me a tell.I know a couple other people who mastered lately that I can ask questions for you.
