Ok, I have been keeping pretty low key this week, as I have been slightly not feeling hot, but I have noticed our one starring "friend" has been hitting the boards.
But then I thought, we cannot just have one... there has to be more than one.
So, I ask all the one star friends of ours to please feel free to one star this. Seriously. Stop one starring constructive or fun posts. Just one star this. I do not care. In fact, I want you to one star this thread. If it will make you feel better to do it, just do it here... just leave all the IDs alone.
Thank you.

Someone's doing searches on me regularly and one-starring all my other posts. They've branched out and gone to bigger and better things.

Still, the constant one-starring affects people's board status. There are people who have been booted from leader back down a level or two because a one-star ninja has one-starred all their posts. I'd hate for Fushia to never get her edit button.
I know I can turn off my star rating, but I've always liked /report better than /ignore for harrassment. It helps to keep it from happening to others. I hate it when I am driven to do ANYTHING by a harrasser, even something as inane as turn off my star rating.

You are pretty much stuck with the name you choose, unfortunately. I know the MODs can change names that break the board policies, so maybe if you send GarVa a reeeeally nice letter he might change it, seeing as you still have under 7 posts and are not trying to change to escape a reputation made under a previous name. However, this is probably against policy or else they would get spammed with requests.

Well, I rarely turn my ratings on. But one day I was looking at my profile and I had a decent rating of 4.1. About 10 days later it was all the way down to 3.3! I turned on my ratings to see what the heck happened, and it appeared everything I had written for a week had been one starred like MAD. That took some serious one starring by a bunch of people with nothing to do.
Quite honestly, if someone has THAT much time on their hands that they can one star posts on a forum, I feel bad for them. It means that they are unemployed or underemployed(because people with real jobs don't have that kind of time to sit around in forums), have no social/sex life, or any balls to actually partake in the conversation.
I have a feeling that once the school year starts up again the one star bandits might decrease some. It is compulsory for 12, 13, 14 year olds to go to school after all.

Almost every single post in every single thread has been one-starred for over a week straight. The pure emnity of it is depressing.

Yes we need to find out if this is harrasment or not. Whomever it is has gone back and one stared every post I have made since the 10th. Some kind soul has gone behind them on the majority however and at least put me to 3 stars. I can not for the life of me understand the persons mentality here.

Thank you for taking the time to write more than 2 words
It's of no matter - I thought I had done something wrong when I created my Account.
