No offense at all to the Image Desinger players as a whole, but this is why I don't like the profession... You have to explain what you want and hope they understand. Too many times I've gone to an Image Designer for some small change, and they take it upon themselves to change something, or I get paranoid and think they did, because of the lighting... they can change things so subtley that you don't notice it, and there's no reciept of what they did. I've known Image Designers that get frustrated with this aswell, being accused of changing things the customer did not ask for, even though they didn't. Simpy put, Image Designers need a reciept system for WHAT they changed on the menu, before you accept, why the Devs didn't think of that I'll never know.
A little off topic I know, but that's how I feel about it.

I thik it mightbe a nice touch if it can be worked in this way the customer can see up front what was adjusted. Make it a clickable detail itemization.

Hmm... I think it won't hurt to include a way for the customer to verify more easily what has changed. I agree, some changes are very subtle, but on the other side, then most likely not many will see any changes all the way.
It's clear, that letting the customer doing the changes is not the way it can be done since then we IDs would be totally degraded to ID-Terminals.
So a way to verify the changes for the customer and the ID might be the solution... maybe like that the part changed is flickering for the next 5-10 seconds after the change ... but this would hold up the work alot I think.. allways having to wait till the flickering is gone... and it would hurt in the eye if you have to see that all the time over and over...
maybe some little text or check-window showing the list of changed parts...
Well jsut my thoughts about this.
May the Force be with you all!

ID-client-side allow check-boxes. Tabs as per ID-side interface, but rather than sliders there would simply be "allow modifications" checkboxes. Add an "allow all" box to the bottom of the interface.

That is actually an excellent idea Syzygy. It would add an element of security to the sessions knowing that we aren't going to be falsley accused of something, and lets the customerknow they aren't getting changes they don't want.
