After a horrible banning for receiving a 1.5 million credit tip, I was found innocent, but 1.5 million credits poorer! It's good to be back. But don't let my incident discourage you from getting paid what you are worth! $$$ It's good to be back.

Nice to hear of your acquittal. How long did your appeal take?

I've only heard of one other member getting banned temporarily-her appeal only took one day though.

I know it's hard, but I don't see how the devs could have done any different. Well, maybe a bit more tactfull with a wee bit more info to the players, but all in all they had no choice.

It is good you were restored. What terrible luck. I'm sure they're getting the poor innocents back asap. Seems some get caught up in the bannings no matter how careful they try to be. Overall definitely a good thing they are committed to halting exploits.

I think the CSR makes a big difference between 'banning' and 'suspending' an account. Those that only recieved larger tips from those that actually did the dubing 'only' got suspended so the invalid cash couldn't even accidently be spread and to individually check, if the person in question was part of the scheme in one way or the other. From what I have heard many of those accounts that were perma-banned belonged to players, that deliberately tried to destroy or harm the economy in SWG. Those many many suspensions were necessary to prevent them from being successfull.

I'm really glad for every single account that gets restored and I only write this as clarification. I think many folks simply don't understand that SoE-CSR couldn't have done anything else. (Maybe just a bit more tacfull, though)
