Thread: Read my idea for the Image Designer and submit your opinions plz :)
An idea to keep Image Designers in demand:
Since most people want to look "perfect" and once they find this "perfect" look they never cahnge it, IDs simply cant find enough work (or rather, i cant) My idea is to have real effects for activites;
1) Eating makes you fat, slow mabye 2-3 clicks per time, but over time, this could become a problem.
2) Using spicies makesmuscle go away, and causes the patient to lose wieght at a slow rate of course.
3) Activities such as dancing or fighting make you lose weight very slowly, so that active chars can fight the gain, although they will still need to go to an ID every once in a while (if they eat).
4) Put into place some sort of need for eating.
5) Add sex change and race change, now most people will be against race change, saying that it allows for unessecary stat changes, but making this only availible to the master ID and not changing the stats of the char (so in effect they only look like the new race, but do not gain its abilities) would imo be a good thing.
6) Also alot of people have talked about ID being too easy to grind, while i agree with this, somewhat i feel that it should not be made too much harder, there are so few IDs why bother making it less appealing
7) Tatoos should not be limited to Zabrak, one could argue that this makes the zabraks special, well they have horns.
8) Body tatoos would be nice, and they would be very nice if we could place them by hand, allowing for much greater customization.
9)A better id interface would be nice, a screen allowing you to zoom in and out focus on the face or things like that.
10) I know many people have said it b4 but ill say it again for them. We want wild and crazy hair and hair colors,WHY ARE THE HUMANS STILL STUCK IN THE 60's good god yall.
11) Fix the hair bug.
12) Fix the "so and so has an outstanding ID option" bug.
13) More colors for all, and skin colors, if now-a-days there can be a group of blue men that prance around and beat on drums, why can there not be blue men in an age of lightsabers and hyperdrives.
Anyway, thats all, for the moment.
Flame On.
Sincerely,

I LOVE the weight/muscle idea. The only problem with it would be that we would probably have a lot of 1337 dEwDs asking us to change them every five seconds. ![]()

This has already been vetoed by LucasArts. I suspect that the following would be as well:

LucasArts wants to stay more true to the Star Wars formula, and blue humans are just not around. ![]()
In any event, there's some good thoughts here. ![]()
There are actually strangely colored humanoids in the movies, if I recall correctly. I don't see any reason why they would veto that on the basis that it isn't "Star Wars-y".
Anyway, I really like the idea about having certain activities you do effect the way you look. Another thing: when you are doing really active things like dancing and fighting, it could increase your muscle. I wonder how difficult it would be to tie these things together. I would also LOVE to see hair "grow" so that you would occasionally need to get it actually CUT. Another idea: if you live on a planet that is primarily dark (like Dathomir) your skin could SLOWLY turn lighter. LOL
I think the only thing that would be weird with a sex change would be that you'd still have the male/female name when you are the opposite. SOE doesn't give the capability to change names post-creation, so I guess I would be a girl human named Trev. ![]()
Not to mention all your friends who probably wouldn't talk to you afterward... haha
"Just call me Trevina." - /sqeaky coy voice
The important thing to note here is that those strangely colored humanoids are just that, humanoids. The blue skinned folks in the Star Wars movies aren't human. That's why it would be vetoed. The colors we get are true to the races we can play & ID as set forth by LucasArts.
