ok i have another thread asking a very simple question that nobody will answer. all im asking is for the command that i can use to change my horns. im not doing this for a holocron im doing it because i want to use the command in a macro to change my horns with different outfits. i really dont understand why this is such a problem for people to answer. ok i understand it can lead to exploiting but then why do you guys always say the commands for eyes, hair color, and freckles? and yet nobody will help me with finding the command for horns? right now the only skill i have is the first in the entertainer tree and all i can change on myself are horns atm. if you do not feel comfortable telling me through a reply then please personal message me the command. last time i checked using commands that they provide was not exploiting and i dont intend to use it for exploiting (hell i dont even know how you would), so please will somebody just answer this very simple question?

If you're looking for horn color that's a simple one (and as far as I know of, non-exploitable) it's

/imagedesignSetValue horn_color <color_number>

The problem lies in a seperate command, and it's one of the worst bugs in this profession (worse even than the outstanding offer, hair-color-appearance-to-others, and sliders-defaulting-to-0 bugs all rolled into one, IMO)

If you simply want to change your horns with different outfits, I fail to understand why you can't /targetself ; /im and use the interface. If you want to grind image design xp, you can suffer through the interface for one lousy level until you get to the next level - at which point you can use the hair color macro for grinding.

As explained in my previous posts, the horn and hair style macro can be used for exploits. Most image designers will not give it out, myself included. Other macros cannot be used for exploits which is why we do give them out.

The problem of exploits is huge. Your problem, I'm sorry to say, is minor. Why should we give out information that could lead to exploits - even if you don't intend to use it as such - when you could simply use the interface and take an extra 4 seconds to do your own hair?

nj62 are you talking about the second skill in the image designsection in entertainer i will be able to change horn color?

I forget when you'll be able to change horn/hair color - check Kwee's guide. At every box you'll get a new skill, one that you can macro to your heart's content.

According to Kwee's guide, hair color is available to novice entertainers, but horn color requires ID III.

I don't see the benefit in the Image Designers to give out something that could be an exploit.

1) We incriminate ourselves because the use of exploits can lead to ourselves being banned.

2) You use the exploit and are caught, you can be banned.

So. Even DESPITE those.... No Entertainer only character should be able to exploit and use a flamethrower, right? So why should someone else be able to exploit and take the ID's job?

I took up ID because I wanted to chance my skin color whenever I wanted. Guess that means I go all the way to master. ::Shrugs:: I'm good with that, I find the profession fun. I'm still working on it too just to get to Master.

It's not that we are flat being rude, it's that most of us do not want to be an accomplice. If you have theability to change your horn color or style then you have theability to target yourself with crtl 1, then the command /im Flip through until you get what you want and change it.

Otherwise, the base command lines can and usually are used for exploiting- since that command line is unessessary for someone with the skill, you don't need it.

Perhaps when this exploit is taken care of and the command line will only work for someone with the skill already....then ID's will be more free with the information.

We don't even know all the commands. Most of the ones we know are from experimenting with the text like hair_color. You just have to mess around with it, or research the old threads to see if anyone posted it before. There are some listed, but I have never seen a complete list of all ID command options, ever.

Also, you may have used the right command, but it wouldn't let you use it if you don't have that skill yet. The bug that lets people use non-qualified options comes & goes, & I don't know if it is back again right now or not. It was supposed to be fixed a while ago.

Anyways, why would you come here, troll this thread, and tell us we make you sick? No one was rude. If telling the truth is rude then... ::laughs:: Oh yeah, I guess that would make us rude right? Ah well. Help is one thing! But aiding in Exploitation is an entirely different one. If there is no need for the command (Such as the character legally having the ability to change their apperance) then there is no need for the command, simple reminding the player that they can /target themself. Problem solved, no?

I just hope the Devs could find a way to locate those with cross species/gender hairstyles and remove it. I've seen too many of them.
