Thread: is there a good facial hair color to match black/dark hair on human males?

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a good way to make the facial hair match all the time. What I normally do is just try to make the hair a little lighter, to lower the contrast between the two. It's not a perfect solution, but it keeps things from being too mismatched.

I've tried with several friends and all I come up with is a sort of grey that really doesn't match well at all. What color do you all think works best as a match?

I think the darkest gray doesn't look too shabby - it really depends on how high your contrast is and if you are in direct sunlight. The real problem is that facial hair is a texture and not a model. I guess that was the easiest way to do it since the face is so variable in shape.
