Image Designer Archive

I would like to see the following items pushed to SWG. These items I believe are a given for our profession and should be a standard part of our abilities. I can't seem to find the report the ID Coord sent but I hope these items where addressed.

1. All Masters, and even non Master, should have access to more colors than the player creation process. Colors are key.
2. Masters should have the ability to increase body features well beyond the player creation process overall (ability to make someone taller than the norm, shorter than the norm, etc).
3. Masters should have the ability to change a person's race for a temperary amout of time. This would just be the physical look, nothing more, for a certain amount of time.
4. Masters should be able to change the way droids look and maybe even change the way pets look (color?).
5. Masters should be able to make a player invisible for a period of time. I know, this is a long shot...but what is an Image Designer really? A master of a character's image right? Why not allow some "magical" effects.
6. Give a BETTER interface for ID work. Give a way so payment and service can be exchanged at the same time. At this point someone can just not pay, or they have to pay first. I'd like to see a "trade" type system implemented. Someone has in one half of the window the amount of credits, then in the other half the proposed design of their new look. If the customer likes it both players select "Confirm". Done.

I agree almost completely with those changes. I the option to change race, but only in looks and only for a limited amount of time is a good thought. It would be cool and because it is just in looks for a temporary period, stats wouldn't be an issue. Sex change could also work like that. The only problems could be wearing clothes that sex/race can't when changing, but if they made it so that you have to remove all items before the option appears then it would be cool. I also like the option to modify droids and pets. Basically, I really only could see color changes being possible though, anything else is overstepping boundaries. Although, with that suggestion in mind, it would be nice to modify vendors of another player's or are own. That would be very cool and wouldn't be hard to implement since vendors are basically the same races availiable to PCs, except for the droids and terminals, of course. We definitely need a bigger color palette too. I think that is my number one change I would like to see. I want ALL colors!!The only thing I completely disagree with you on, is the invisible thing. Ijust think that is going too far and I would much rather see simple changes that applymore to our profession.

Heres my list of things I want the most

1. Hair colors - like blue, red, green, etc

2. Beards - why not some REAL hair, not the "havnt shaven yet" look

3. Tatoos - for every race (except wookie)

4.Bald - why cant we do bald?

Those are my thoughts

More colors YAY
I think permanent sex change (we can pretty much do it now, so why not)
Temp species change would be weird, but I think they could be creative about that one
More amounts of change past char creation (taller, stronger, etc.) would be very nice
I think real beards would be good (I keep having people ask me for long beards or curly beards).

More numerous and more attractive and funky Master Hairstyles! We definitely got shortchanged there. The hairstyle I wear now is gorgeous but why the heck can't I have long curls ala Lady Godiva?? Maybe not ankle-length but you get the idea.
