Well, maybe. 
But where was it established that Trandoshians never have had and never will havescaley skin in shades of grey or black? And by whom? AreTrandoshians so much written about and well described somewhere that it wouldgo against all that is Star Wars if some showed up with skin colors that aren't offered in the game right now? I'm seriously asking. Because I wouldn't know.
At any rate, players sure do like having a lot of options when it comes to customizing their avatar's appearance. I for sure don't see anything wrong in adding more options for skin tones. Kwee brings us word that we'll have more options for haircolors at some point. I hope that's just a beginning on theadditional contentthat will eventuallybebrought in for avatarcustomization and the image design profession. I think it would be really hard to go wrong with the majority of players when it comes to addinggame content like this. And you sure don't have to do too much mind bending to imagine creatures, humanoidor otherwise, looking very strange and unusual in a Star Wars setting.
