I am not animage designer but I need your help.

I was jamming with the band one day when a nice young lady asked if she could practice ID on me. After getting her assurance that I would be restored to my original look I allowed her to do it.

Not too long later she said that thing which scares us all: uh-oh....

She was not able to put me back to my clean shaven scalp! I fashioned my avatar to look like me in RL to increase the immersive experience, and now it's gone horribly awry! I have spoken with a master ID and she was unable to help as well.

Can anyone help me?

I am sorry to tell you that as of now there is no skill to 'Shave' a head. We all know that it is ridiculous, and we apologize that this has been done to you. I try to spread the word to my bald-headed friends when I see them NOT to let anyone practice hair design on them as a warning.

I wish there was a better answer, but as of today there is not. Perhaps this will be implemented in the future?

Unfortunately, not even a Master Image Designer can help you. You have my sympathies, especially if you spent a great deal of time into your character. Lesson learned... only go to a professional. Semi-good news: Higher level designers have near-bald styles like mohawks, jedi pony-tails, and kung-fu master.

Sadly, currently, no.

We have the amazing ability to grow hair, but not the ability to remove it completely.

I'm sure this will be added, as more and more people like you find that they can't go back to bald.

Of course, I imagine most ID fixes to be implemented in about a year. You might be better off deleting and redoing - unless you have tons of time and material (and old exploits) fashioned into your current character.

Bug the CSRs, maybe if you harassess them (nicely of course) this change will come around sooner.

I had a customer tell me that he could get his bald head back after I changed it by going to his inventory and deleting the hairstyle. Not sure how that is possible but you might want to check that out. He says its like getting a toupee for a hairstyle

CSR's have said that things get fixed/implemented by number of tickets. So maybe we should flood them with tickets on not being able to be bald.

The funny thing is I did file a ticket after speaking to a master.

It has been responded to 4 times, and now they are TELLING me I must close the ticket.

Even funnier is when they said "...there MUST be someone in the game that can do it. Have you asked multiple people or just one?"

It is a bug, but our dedicated IDers have found a workaround. Here's the steps:

1. IDer offers client any hairstyle.
2. Client declines style through clicking the X in the upper right corner.
3. IDer offers client any hairstyle again.
4. Client accepts style normally.
5. Client opens inventory and finds a wig in the last spot.
6. Client destroys wig as if it were any other item.
7. Now bald client showers IDer with credits. Though, this last step is optional.

Unless it got fixed with the patch, I can confirm that this works well and ANY level of image designer can do it.

Making someone Bald is easy, when you Know how, and any image designer can, even a person with Novice entertainer. So you can get your Bald head back... have the ID do the following, and you follow along.

1. Have them offer you any hairstyle, does Not matter which.

2. you must close the window, that says " accept, refuse" Not By refusing, But By clicking the little x In the corner.

3.have them offer you a hairstyle again.... and again it does NOT matter which.

4 this time you accept it... when you do, you will have a wig , In your Inventory.

5. DESTROY the wig.

^. TA DA.... Instant bald head.

there is a Bug I have Noticed after going bald. you can check it Out I have Only seen it when I make Myself Bald. If I do later get hair, it will be default Brown, and the ID cannot access the hair color options, I need to Log off, with the new hairstyle, and Log back, before she can then change the hair color.

and I have been told that although YPU see the new haircolor, No one else will, until either you Log off, and back on... or the server resets..
