just out of curiousity, I'm working on a plastic surgeon concept (doctor/image designer) Just how hard is this class to move up the skill trees? It won'tprevent me from doing it either way, just wanting to know.

Easy if you have a friend to practice on, long otherwise. Muon gold is your friend

It can really depend on many factors. Having a friend to practice with, someone you enjoy hanging out with makes the time go much faster. Take advantage of food and drink buffs (especially focus, whichminimizes mind hits,and willpower, which determines how fast your mind regens), and a master musician/dancer's buff. Some people have done it in a few days doing nothing else but clicking, other takes weeks or months. I personally took two months. I went fairlyslowly being somewhat burnt out after having had two Image Designers player wiped in beta My ID friends on Starsider were great motivators, and fun to practice with so it was fun FishWan (who I practiced with the most)is an Image Designer/Doctor on Starsider and enjoys the combination.

Having a large bank balance helps too. I am on Lowca and cannot find a player to teach me the skills. To go up in Hairstyling and train at a npc will cost me 240k.....I dance too but tips are very very scarce. I hope to find a player. I dont mind tipping for teaching but there is no way by the time I master each teir in the tree will I be able to afford 960k+ to a npc. Can anyone out there help?

i have no idea how you are getting those figures.... (but then i am quite bad at math ;-)) ... however... correct me if these are wrong...

4x9 = 36

4x8 = 32

4x7 = 28

4x6 = 24

Novice = 5

5+24+28+32+36 = 125 or 125,000cr to pay for every skill in an elite profession.

how did you arrive at your numbers? am i missing something? :-s
