Thread: List of specific skill gains per level?
Heya,
could anyone please tell me if there is any post/site whereI can find information on the exact skills gained by each image design level? The skill box description doesn't exactly help much. For instance: body form +1. Body form what? :/ Height, weight, chest, age... ?! Or Markings + 1. Color or shape... ?
Depending on that I'd like to pick the next skill to get.
I haven't seen one unfortunately but I do know that as for which tree to raise first, you want to do Facial Customizations. You get more bang for your buck out of these customizations in raising xp the fastest. Something you might want to consider doing, as it's on your mind now is to write down what you're picking up at what level and perhaps submitting the info to SWG Stratics to help others that have the same questions. ![]()
Wish I could remember exactly but I've been Master for too long, my brain is fried! =)
Muon gold is bugged?? EEK!
Have you tried using caf?? That bumps your focus up and reduces the cost of your changes significantly. Try not to glug up on it all at once though because you will fill your little tummy and be unable to continue for very long. Also work on Stat Migrating. Get that focus up higher and don't worry about your health and such because you're gonna be sitting in the cantina anyway. ![]()
When I was able to hang the 'Expert Hairstylist' Tag over my head, my business shot through the roof.
Doh - I need to migrate into the focus pool? I did a stat migration, but moved my spare points to the mind pool. Should I change that? I had no clue what exactly IDing drains.
Oh and, as for muon gold, it hits you with a bunch of incaps (http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Radiant&message.id=59952)... essentially, it was so bad for me that it wasn't worth using, because it would take me so long to recover from the incaps that it was easier to gain xp without, heh.
To clarify about mind :-
Mind - The pool that the cost of an action is taken away from.
Focus - Determines how much that action will cost (Higher focus = Lower cost)
Willpower - Determines the rate that your mind pool regenerates at (Higher Willpower = Faster Regen)
Things that buff focus and willpower are good (but boy does that Muon Gold downer sting). Anything that increases your regen rate is good such as sitting (Seems to help anyway). Remember your always regenerating even when your IDing...so a higher Willpower (regen) means that you'll get more actions out of your mind pool.

Allakhazam also has it available, it's not as clearly written out but if you use the character builder, with each ID level you click on it shows you on the right side under abilities and skill mods what you can change with that level. It's specific too, none of this "hairstyling +1" garbage. ![]()
BTW, I am not crazy about being an image designer in terms of my profession, but I would never give it up because I love changing myself too much. I just don't wear the title very often, LOL

And the time while under its effects are extreamly benficial for ID XP, even if your only practicing on yourself. I'll often scoff some while waiting for a shuttle and churn out a few thousand XP in the available time, and without nerfing my other pools (hey, I like combat too).
I can't agree more that muon gold is a must have, even bugged. I used it all the time, and it was still much faster with the breaks of the downer than without using it at all.
I used eye color I think, it was the most efficient mind-wise, as it was only slightly decreasing my mind bar with the spices, so that I never had to wait for my mind to get up. Using higher level skills is much less efficient (arguably you have to take into account the time spent clicking though, but eye color was still the best for me until master).
And yes I would go hairstyling first too, it's the most asked and as I said the novice ID skills are the best to grind anyway.
Tihihi, a funny story I wanted to share.
Me and two others was sat on the floor in Anchorhead cantina grinding ID on eachother. And when the downer hit us we all went "poof, poof, poof" incapped on the floor. And all the rebels started screaming "IMPS" and running around looking for our killers. Awwwww, how sweet ![]()
