who can wear them and what skill do you get them at?

Human males and female have mohawks as well as Rodian females. Rodian females get the mohawk at character creation while the human versions are in the Image Designing tree. I think they are either Hairstyling I or II. However,a shorter version of the mohawk is available to human females (possibly males) at Image Design III or IV of the Entertainer tree.

Zabraks have thier own version that they can get at character creation. It's just all of their horns in a row, kind of like a mohawk.

i was walking through a starport and i swear i saw a zabrak nps, with a mohawk(of hair) spiked up like a fan, and spikes in rows along side the mowhawk, so i went to a master ID but she couldnt give it to me.../cry

Yeah, I've seen an NPC like that as well. I've also seen a female Zabrak NPC with the spiral human female hairstyle with the spikes showing through the spirals.

Npc hairstyles are randomly picked from everything available, just as their clothes are. So you often see combinations that are not supposed to be. A now fixed exploit used to allow players to give the wrong hairstyles to the wrong species. There are very few hairstyles that are available to two or more species, they obviously intended for most styles to be unique to one species, but it sure would be fun to have them all available to everyone Some are restricted by head shape though, bothans and rodians dont necessarily have the same head shape as humans and zabraks. That could be an art issue even if they wanted to grant all hairstyles to everyone.

I wasn't asking for all races to share all hairstyles, though. Hehe. I was just saying, if an NPC Zabrak can have an mohawk, why can't a PC Zabrak? It's a pretty cool hairstyle.
