Thread: Pub 17 Bug...

Found a bug while playing with my MID alt. When using the 3rd Human Female hairstyle from the end (half head shaved, other half swept to the side) the style is only available in brown. An eyebrow color pallete appears, but nothing to chance the color of the hair. And when color is changed through another style that style remains brown. Tested with an MID friend who had the same problem. I /bugged it, but wanted to let others know here.

Almost the same occured to me with the same hairstyle. The customer walked in with a brown 'half hair half bald' female humancut. She wanted her hair black and the style chagned to the ponytail (topknot) style.


I only got a eybrow color change pallet, no hair color change pallet initally. I was able to change the style to the one she wanted and when I did I go the hair color change pallet back. I changed her hair to black on my screen, but she still saw brown (but she did see her new style). When we commited to the changes, everything worked as it should have though, and she got exactly what she wanted.

It is a very strange bug indeed. So it's on half-bald styles? I wonder if it's connected to the bug where if you give a zabrak hair who didn't have hair before, he/she cannot see the changes to hair color in preview, but only sees brown.

I did a /bug last night on this issue. It was the "elvis" hairstyle. He could see the facial hair change to Fuschia (I know, I know.) but the hair showed as brown.

The hair (and hair color) bug is very definitely back. I did a makeover for a friend of mine who just returned to the game, and she was changing her hair from the auburn braids and shells style to the 'vixen' style (the one with the strands down over one eye) in bright pink. When we finished the session, I couldn't see the updated hair. She logged out and back in though and everything was fine.

have the flopped over mohawk as i like to call it and previous to pub 17 was a dark maroon and once i logged in was frustrated to find it a blah brown . tried to go to an Id and they couldnt change it back. one of my favorite styles hope they fix it

I haven't run into this problem yet, but it may be because I've only done that haircut once since Pub 17. I'll do some testing on my friends though, and see if I run into it.

I hope this is just a bug
I have matching clothes and makeup but now my pretty blue hair has gone brown and i cant change it back...

I hope this will get fixed

Please give us more details. What is your species/gender? What hairstyle do you have? Were you ID'ed before or after the latest patch? It helps a LOT to get those details.
