Thread: No XP for Image Designing Myself?

Hope you guys can help me.
I'm trying to get Novice Image Designer and upon logging in last night, I no longer get any XP when I image design on myself.
As a fairly infrequent player I don't have a lot of friends "in-game" to ID on so this is really killing me (especially since I'm missing out on double XP).
Anyone else having issues with this?

I tried it on TC with a fresh toon (my regular test-toons are still missing *snif*)and got ID-xp for ID-ing myself. What exactly did you do while ID-ing yourself?

I would suggest trying "control 1" which targets yourself and then ID'ing yourself. Also, check your xp on your skills screen. You may not be getting system messages, but you might be getting the xp anyway.

Be sure you are not 'maxxed out' on XP as well,
sometimes we forget there is indeed a cap and work past it without realizing.
Training fixes that fast enough

Also keep in mind you have to actually change something to get experience. Might sound obvious, but just covering all the possibilities for you to try!

and if you're grinding ID, change eye color. it gives the most XP i've found.
I did my ID grind in the first double xp week. Went from novice entertainor to master ID in 2 hours or so. LOVING ever MINUTE of Image Designer too.
also helps my alt is a tailor so i make all kinds of clothes for her, and i can change my hair whenever i want to match the clothes
