Respecced ID's? I mean gah I did it when it was very hard and all these MID's who get in quickly just annoy me. Especially the ones with no sense of ID at all, and appear to make people like Michael Jackson's plastic surgeon. Its as bad as badly dressed tailors!

Badly dressed Tailors...hmm you do realize some Tailor perfer to 'dress badly' since the world is full of lookalike clones for style?
and as far as respecd id, it takes 3 hrs to go from nov Ent to master ID..no respec needed to get there fast
most IDs who respecd were taking ID and sinking it into other profs, since as I said you can master it in hrs.

well as i've said in other posts, I mastered ID during double xp week during the respec period. But I did it beacuse I wanted to be an ID. I absolutely LOVE ID on my alt. As for respecing ID's well sure its an easy route, but thats what SOE made available. Just dont be coming to me asking to ID me for the grind. You never know what they'll change on your toon. My alt to me is set up perfect. She only changes her hair color these days and that's it. nothing else.

The respec-period should be over for most players pretty soon. During the time of hologrinding we had a similar situation and we survived that, too.

I guess I should be more appreciative to people wanting to have ID 
and I agree that alot of people go for the non ordinary things to not be other clones

Now that respec is ending, I'm seeing fewer and fewer Master ID's, which is good, I suppose. This has nothing to do with respec, but on my server, I see this girl who has an entirely inappropriate name (why does everyone want to be a slave? Slavery is not cool at all!) running around with a master ID title over her head and I feel ashamed to share a profession with that twit.
But really, with the U.S. history of slavery, why on earth would people want to roleplay it... for fun? It boggles my mind.

Not just Badly ID MID in game... badly dressed/image designed' its all over the galaxies. Look at some of the entertainer's in the Cantina's there are some badly dressed Entertainers out there as well...but also beuty is in the eye of the beholder I guess if they want to wear green shorts and a polka dot top more power to em!

It's just a wild guess, but maybe the dark number of folks with submissive fantasies is much higher that many expect... and SWG is a perfect ground to kind of live out fantasies without actually having to do it in real live... kind of a saver way...
But I still don't like such slave-"games" and I'm pretty sure SOE is not very comfortable about them either.On the other side I don't see any violation of the EULA there... but I don't know every bit of the EULE either...
Maybe you should write a CS-ticket about this to be sure.

There is also the possibility that many of the slaves are alternate characters. So when the combat guy get an alt, he makes it a slave of his main. In that case a lightly dresses, at least mildly attractive, female slave would not show the players wish to RP that role, but rather the player wish for thair main character to have such a slave.

heres what my MID looks like, i thinks shes rather cute but i'ma bit biased

Because it is Star Wars.
Wooks were slaved, Twi'ks were slaved, anyone who had debt was slaved...
What get's me is the extent they play 'house' slaves.
I hate passing by a conversation which is flooded with well "900 number content" acidently in spatial. ugh.

Well... there's this adults only role play game that's usually done in live chats, that is also a real life lifestyle for some folks and is based on an old sci-fi novel series (adult rated) and it's "premise" adapts rather well to the Star Wars storyline and the ability to role play a slave in the game. Some of what you see of masters and slaves is just that game undercover here in SW.
