This was a petition for a feature so that you would not appear on someone's friends list if you did not wish. I realize that this is not a specifically an image designer issue, but I know that we have tell hell issues many times, being a service profession. I was wondering what you all thought of this feature, whether you would use it, and whether you think it would be worth lobbying for (obviously not in our top 5 but perhaps in a wish list).

I would like to revive this issue if at all possible because I think it would be beneficial to many players and would be relatively easy to implement (since it is a feature of many mmorpgs).

As I said in that thread, please god yes. We need a real system for anonymity. Even better, we need a verification for addition to someone's friend list. Or better still, a range of options for allowing or denying people from seeing you as online on their friends list (Allow all, allow these, allow none, deny these)

I reposted this idea on the new "core systems" board (under professions) which is apparently the place to go for these sorts of issues.
