Image Designer Profession Enhancements: To enhance the Image Designer profession, we’ve put together a list of new features so that we can add some exciting new avatar customization features to the game as well as make them an important part of the game world. Some of the things Image designers can look forward to are:
ID User Interface: Image designers and their clients can work through the changes in real-time, agree on a price and execute the changes through a secure-trade transaction window.
Hair accessories: Coming in the form of particle enhancements to existing hairstyles
New hair colors: Bright neons and fluorescents, glitter that flickers or changes colors.
New skin tones: More variety in current colors, body paint type colors. (Bright Red, Lemon Yellow, etc.).
Increased Colors for all Palettes: For example, Lip colors such as pinks, peaches, more flesh tones and more vibrant shades like Canary Yellow, White, etc.

So now I can tell you the dev working on ID stuff for us did makeup research, isn't that great

WOW! great news...
The UI the best news,
Hair accessories does not sound like it will help my Manly IDer image 
it does sound like it could be a craftable mind or BF buff? I'm looking forward to hear more.

Great news!!! Very excited about these. No word on any new hairstyles tho, or any new clothing

I love that this happens right when I decide there's never going to be more content added to ID, bite the bullet, drop it, cry, and take up pistoleer.
I smell alt character.

good adds but... i don't want to be the pessimist here but... how about eye shape and some bug fixes?

I can't believe this! I am so excited I can hardly wait to see what it looks like! I will probably have to make an image designer on testcenter to get a preview when it comes out. I am a little worried about the UI because of some of the things that that we have discussed in other threads (the customer telling us exactly what to do instead of giving us any creative freedom), but right now I feel like the developers have heard these concerns and they probably wouldn't do that to us.

I wonder if there will be more given to us in the Publish than mentioned. It does say "-Some- of the things Image Designers can look forward to.."
